List of David Pratt's Reviews
He's a concierge Dr., but acts annoyed if you reach out to him. Not interested in integrative medicine, very old fashioned. Staff also seem put out when you call. Their office hours are so minimal too, Wednesdays off, two hour lunches and close at 4pm! . Definitely do not get the sense healing or patient care is their life's calling. '
Dr. Pratt was recommended to me by another doctor. I called his office 4 of the 5 weekdays last week to get information about his services, some days multiple times to make sure I was calling during office hours. No one answered the phone! I even left a message with the answering service. No one called me back. I finally got through today and mentioned my trouble reaching anyone. The receptionist seemed irritated, though I was not in the least upset in my tone. I asked a few questions and was told he is no longer taking new patients. I can only assume this is true, as I never got the chance to speak to the doctor. Aside from sharing my experience with other readers, I'm partially leaving this review in the hope that the doctor reads this and discovers and rectifies the issue of no one answering his calls last week. Very disappointing.
I have been a patient of Dr. Pratt since he began practicing in Napa. He is the absolute best at listening, attending to health concerns, prioritizing needs, and from the women I know they and I have received the same time and attention and concern as men (many doctors do not treat genders the same). Having seen many many physicians I can tell you that his concern and openness to patient interaction is incredible.
Dr. Pratt has been my doctor for almost 20 years. He cares and will go the extra mile in taking care of you. He does make you wait though so plan for that.
Dr. Pratt has been my primary care physician for around 10 years now and is the best primary care doc I've ever had. His office staff is always friendly and will do their best to get you in as soon as possible or handle what you need over the phone so you don't have to go in for an office visit. Dr. Pratt is one of the most compassionate physicians I've ever met, and that's saying a lot since I've been an ER nurse for 16 years. He sits down and takes the time to really listen to what's going on. When he changed his practice to a concierge practice I didn't think twice about staying with him and things have only gotten better. Now you are taken into a room almost as soon as you arrive. I have his personal email and cell number if I ever need to contact him in an emergency. Before he went concierge I had referred all of my family and friends to him. He's the best!!
Dr Pratt has been my physician for over 10 years where he and his office continue to provide me with excellent primary medical care. At one point, some years ago I had a medical crisis that fell in the middle of my busy work travel schedule. I needed multiple appointments, some immediately as well as phone calls with the doctor. He and the staff were extremely accommodating in meeting my needs. In addition, he showed great compassion which greatly reduced my anxiety. A good man that cares for his patients!
We love Dr. Prattt and feel fortunate to have him as our family doctor. Our previous GP retired and due to insurance changes, we were unable to join his replacement's practice. We had no physician for over a year, which was unsettling, in spite of general good health of my husband and myself. Sorry to read these negative reviews. Yes, waiting is frustrating (I bring a book to any appt. these days), but I will vouche for the quality of care Dr. Pratt provides his patients. I always feel I have his undivided attention, whether I'm in the office for a routine health issue or am seriously sick. He is friendly and professional. Also, we have a friend with a very serious health problem who recommended Dr. Pratt to us based on the outstanding care he was given by Pratt during and following diagnosis. Two years later, he continues to swear by Dr. Pratt's high standards and level of car (and caring). My husband and I concur.
Again your missing the point and now just being rude. At first I was mad about the 75.00, but hey I get that I missed the appointment. I did call myself and speak with the ladies in the office and they told me just what you said, not what I wanted but I accepted that. At that time is asked them to update the primary number to my cell phone. Problem resolved right? Well my wife called and asked again about the 75.00 charge, not me and as your receptionist is explaining you take the phone and like a child make derogatory remarks about me manning up? And wearing big boy pants. Please note that you also did this in your office in front of your staff and whomever else was in your waiting room and with my wife on the phone. So mr. Adult I contemplated coming to your office and confronting you and your staff in front of your customers, but thought that is not the correct way to handle this situation and you write that I should have written you a note? Why so you could parade that around to your staff and patients? Come on Doctor Pratt just admit you placed your arrogant foot in your mouth....I don't get it were you looking for a fight? What's your deal Dr?
I liked the Doctor and the staff. Recently though something has changed. I missed an appointment and we were charged, I called and explained that I didn't get a call as they said and they were pretty adamant about the payment. I get that I missed the appt. first time ever, but I would continually have to wait for my appointments as the time passed? So my wife calls to pay the bill and said something to the receptionist and the doctor gets on the phone and asks why my wife why I didn't I put on my big boy pants and call myself. Well that's just Peachy Doctor Pratt. We are switching doctors.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
