Had my daughters appointment today and let me tell you it was a waste of money and time! I had to pay a $60 copay for DR Rovit to say "continue using the eye drops" that was it! This could have been a phone call! This is my daughters 4th time seeing him and he's always in and out seems like he doesn't care! Today I had enough I was concerned that my 2 year old was able to pop the lens out of the frame easily and was putting them in her mouth. I asked him what he thought I should do about it and all he said was " ya idk about that I guess you'll have to figure it out "and walks out! Never going back!

If you are told to wait on a call from Norma to schedule a procedure for your child, save yourself the time and find a new Ophthalmologist. We were told that our infant needed a procedure done by their eye surgeon, and the sooner the better for a successful procedure. Norma is the one who schedules pediatric procedures and she was supposed to call us within the week to schedule us with the eye surgeon. Well, she never called. My husband and I have left her numerous messages in the past two months and have never once spoken with Norma. Not sure if she even exists! Every time we called the front desk, they would just transfer us back to Norma’s voicemail. After 3 months of waiting for a procedure to be scheduled that was supposed to be done ASAP, we have found a new Ophthalmologist. Don’t waste your time for your child’s well being.

Dr Rovit staff are the worst no response for two weeks they promise to call me back and they never do Dr Rovit take notice

I've been seeing Dr. Rocky for a while now and he's been doing the best with an impossible situation. Without his help, I'd probably be blind.

We went there for my two year old vision exam, we saw dr Rovitt, I don’t know how this person is associated with pediatric. He is one of the least kind, compassionate pediatric doctors I’ve met. This guy didn’t look at my child at all, he looked in his computer the whole time, then took a quick look and dismissed us. Now granted it is hard to check a 2 year old, but his cold careless Approach threw us off. He was annoyed that my son made noise and believe me not even loud one. My son is very behaved for a two year old but he’s a 2 year old, what do you expect., how are you specializing in pediatric. Terrible choice, my family and I will not be giving them any more free money!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Rovit for over two years now. I feel as if the other reviews are unfair, as he is the only pediatric ophthalmologist in Las Vegas. Yes, he is a busy man, but I have never felt rushed. I always leave knowing more about my daughter's condition. He is prompt with appointment times, and very thorough. My daughter feels at ease around him, and her condition (amblyopia) has improved significantly. His staff has consistently been kind and welcoming, and are always engaging. Give him a shot. If you need someone to coddle you through the entire process, he is not the guy. BUT, if you want a physician who has decades of experience and will do his best to correct your child's vision, Dr. Rovit is your guy.

Took my son, who has high functioning autism l, to Dr. Rovit. They were very impatient with him. We recently moved to the area. My son has been having yearly eye exams for the past 5 years and when given time and patience has never had a problem accurately telling people “whether 1 or 2 is clearer” type of thing. His assistant was impatient with my son. We recently noticed that he had been failing the convergence test at home (I’m a school nurse) and when tested in the office he failed but the assistant argued that he had passed. Dr Rovit hardly even looked at my son and when told that the prescription he was writing was “way off from his last prescription” said that he would just fudge in the middle. Now I have no trust whether they give my son the correct prescription or not. Would not recommend Dr Rovit or Shepherd Eye Center.

My son and I have both been seeing Dr. Rovit for about 3-4 years and we both had eye correction surgery by him. He definitely comes off a little arrogant and short with words but he is very informative and knows what he's doing. He did wonders for both of our eyes and I'm beyond pleased with him.

We visited the doctor on Friday Afternoon for my elder daughter my daughter is 4 year old. the doctor was in a hurry. he did not explain us her condition. he left us unsatisfied.

Didn't do anything first visit. Paid $170 then had me return in 2 weeks. Wait time is long. Front desk rude. Bad overall experience at Shepard eye
