List of Angela Shoho's Reviews
A wonderful, extremely competent physician and an overall fantastic person.
This is my mom!!! She is AMAZING at what she does, she really does take the time to examine all her patients, and she is patient, kind, and caring.
Dr. Shoho has been my PCP for 10+ years. I’ve always felt she is not only well educated in internal medicine. And she has shown great care for me as a patient over those ten years. I agree with another reviewer that when I first started visiting her she spent more time with the computer than with me. However, that seems an artifact of todays medicine. But over the past several years Dr. Shoho has spent more time with me and less with her computer.
7 yrs with this amazing doctor my primary care . I now have my husband seeing her as his PM too. She is kind and gentle and gives you the utmost attention during your appt. She will no longer be with this office but will be going to dignity health group . I will follow her no matter where she is in the valley. She is very knowledgeable and keeps up on my blood work tests to help with my thyroid and my husband's diabetes and graves disease.
Excellent. Dr. Shoho is the best of the best. During appointments, I have never felt rushed. She listens and addresses all your concerns. I have been a RN for 20 years and as long as Dr. Shoho is in practice I will not see any other primary doctor.
She is my primary and I like her as a person but she interacts with me only while entering things into the computer. I went for a physical, the staff didn't weigh me, she barely looked at me and started heading out the door while I was sitting there. She looked over her shoulder and told me I was done. She misdiagnosed me once telling me I had fibromyalgia when in fact I had disk issues that was later identified by a spine doctor. She seems to know how to refer me to her friends but little else. I came in once after going to ER, she knew what the problem was but suggested I watch youtube videos since I was disinclined to spend a bunch of money on physical therapy.
I've sat on writing this review for a long time. I wanted to write the account of what happened to me because I think it's worthy of sharing, but after time went on, I lost the motivation to share what happened, and also, I don't like to be mean, but I do need to be truthful. So I figure I will say this: if you're looking for a doctor who is kind, caring, believes you when you're sick, and who advocates for you, please see another doctor. Being sick is hard enough, and working with a doctor who doesn't have patience for any questions you might have, doesn't care for your wellbeing, and isn't transparent about about her, "I'll only see you for 10 minutes" rule, makes everything 100x harder. If you have a common cold, Dr. Shoho is fine, but other than that, please see someone else. I don't typically write reviews, but I feel this one is still necessary to share. I was a patient of her for years, and I wish I listened to my instincts and left when she started treating me poorly.
Dr. Shoho is fantastic. She is thorough and takes as much time as I need with her to answer questions and make me feel at ease. She's a great diagnostician and is judicious, yet reasonable, with medications.
My primary for 6# years. My health is her concern and I feel always that she’s got my best interests in mind. Nurses, office staff, everyone is gracious and friendly. Never a wait, always a smile on everyone’s face. Dr. truly cares and will call me directly with information I need to hear!
Dr. Shoho was difficult to get appointments with. She eventually told me that my case was too complex for her and that I would be better with a different doctor. She was right.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
