Dr. Oliver is a gem. I’m blessed to have met a doctor who is genuinely compassionate, knowledgeable, takes his time to explain things to patient/family and truly cares. I had a procedure done with him and I knew it my heart I was in good hands. His whole team is amazing and I can’t thank them enough.

He’s wonderful. Unfortunately the staff at his office is extremely lax on returning calls to schedule. The call center has tried four times in one month and his staff is not helping them or calling me back. Sadly Dr. James Oliver wanted to see me by a certain time, and I’ve relayed this fact to his staff and the call center. Nobody cares regardless how much information I give. And I’ve had a condition nobody will help with … but he did. He’s proactive, smart, talks you through, explains. Fantastic doctor. Just wish people around the doctors cared too. I get the feeling they just want a paycheck and could care less about the affect their lackadaisical actions have on the health of patients.

Omg I feel like I hit the jackpot with Dr Oliver I'm 64years old so I have had a few Gynecologist.He by far is one the best if not the best I have seen. I was quite nervous to say the least I have had a few bad experiences so I was not sure what to expect. he just knew what to say to put me at ease and by far the most gentle he has the best bed side maner and so very kind. And his nurse Norma was just amazing she was so kind and caring and A great listener. happy to have found him for my new Gynecologist

I waited an hour after my appointment time. His nurse said it is worth the wait and he will take his time with me, which he did not. He rushed through my visit. His two students performed the PAP and it was the most painful unpleasant experience I have ever had at a Gynecologist appointment. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Dr. Oliver did a great job for my process of cervical screening and procedure, and was my surgeon for my hysterectomy. He and his skilled team at St. Rose provided the best care and I am recovering wonderfully.

Not only did I feel like he took time to listen to my concerns he also looked into alternative solutions when other doctors didn't.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Oliver for a very long time. She has a lot of issues. He is very kind, patient, smart, LISTENS TO YOU!!! He even found other things that other Drs never took the time to figure out what was wrong. We trust him and were so glad he has been her doctor.
