I had The Sleeve done 2011. My recovery went smoothly. The Dr. And staff are fabulous! In just a month the results were amazing…year I was a new version of myself. Today I am still a success and 120 lbs lighter and healthier than I was 10 years ago! It changed my life forever!

I'm 50/50. I got the sleeve done and for some reason I felt as if something wasn't right. I wasn't as full eating as people were in my support groups. I'm in a wheelchair so, I thought well, maybe that's it, but as time went on I started to see more people that was wheelchair bond and their result were awesome. They say not to compare yourself with others so I thought to check on myself. I got X-rays to check on my sleeve & it came back everything was ok, so I didn't know what else to do. I was eating the way I should but wasn't losing weight. Speaking with different people in my support groups they're given more help throughout the process. After the surgery you are really on your own. You see a nutritionist early on & if you need assistance again your out of luck. No one calls & checks on you where other people in my support groups are saying how they could set appointments for up to a year after their surgery without worrying about paying out of pocket and they get a call twice a month. I recently thought about getting the revision done due to gerd but, everybody is wonderful until after the surgery. I don't know if I should try another surgeon (if i can) maybe the result will be different 🤔 since this seems to be where my insurance will payor just forever take acid pills ???

I got referred by Southwest Medical Associates for weight loss surgery. I have done all the classes. I am suppose to get surgery done next week, however I have not even got to meet Dr. Atkinson MD. I have met only the PA Washington. I selected Dr. Atkinson because of him being a great surgeon, however I am only a week away and starting to have second thoughts. I would like to meet the surgeon I selected which I feel could put me more at ease. I am a single mom of two kids with prior health issues which lead me into this tough decision of a surgical gastric sleeve. I find it very odd that I have not been able to meet with Dr. Atkinson.

I was referred here by my Medical Provider Southwest Medical Center, for barbaric surgery. There was classes for 6 months and then you were able to choose your physician the Dr. I chose Dr. A does not do the procedure I needed, and I was going to see the PA instead of the Dr. which had me kind of uneasy but since Dr A was not going to perform my surgery and was referred to his associate Dr Marc LeDuc, Dr LeDuc was and outstanding Doctor.from the first time meeting him, he made sure that all the proper procedures prior to my surgery was completed. I saw him before my surgery and he also came to my room that make sure that I was ready to leave the hospital with out any questions or concerns. I also seen Dr LeDuc after my 1 week post op. Since then i have seen the General Practitioner and appreciate the concern that she has for my health and success from this surgery. I have not had any complications from my surgery and is very pleased with the office staff especially the schedulers they are fantastic women and the rest of the medical office personnel.

I have been struggling with my weight for a very long time I am so happy that I have been able to drop a significant amount of weight. You guys rock!

I have my surgery November 15th 2017and through the whole process for the last few months....... the staff and the doctors have been so wonderful and kind to me and having a major surgery like this is not something that's easy to get through .......but to have the people you know that actually genuinely care or at least make you feel like they do is a good support.

I had gastric sleeve December 14th 2016.done by Dr James Atkinson. He is so sweet he mad me feel super comfortable he was very hands on he was there when I needed him...anyways very very very good I recommend him 😁😁😁
