James S Forage's Online Review Report Card

Two physical therapist told me that dr forage would be interested in my muscle loss and since I’ve been to several neurologist without any help they thought that he would be helpful. WOWHe seemed strange & distant, almost like he didn’t want to come closer to me, I took it personal until I read his reviews, I guess that’s his personality. I hoped that he would find out what was causing my muscle loss but he wanted me to take a mri and my insurance would not cover it so I had to pay 200. I really hoped & prayed that he would give me some answers. After the mri, I made several appointments but I waited over two hours for an appointment but he never showed and then I rescheduled and one hour before that app. the office called to say that the doctor was not in. I finally got another app. The doctor kept looking at his computer and asked did I have a mri of my neck ? I told him , maybe. I’m wondering maybe he should have ordered it But he said that he would do surgery, shave bone , No thx

Dr. Forage and his PA, Matt are exceptional. I cannot stress how excellent the background of Dr. Farage is. I feel blessed to be under his care, and find him to be witty, succinct and conservative. I appreciate his approach and his willingness to support a patient’s decisions regarding surgery based on personal/life events. Not sure how to rate this doctor but as I read previous reviews, I see issues that I have noticed on my first visit with dr forage . Right now the biggest problem I’m having is with his staff. I have a unique situation and my physical therapist said that Dr forage might be interested to find out my problem. Hopefully he can/will help ????. I have seen several neurologists since moving to Nevada and none are interested or just don’t want to be bothered. SO Sad ??

All that schooling and experience and can't teach a doctor how to value patients time . He overbooks for same hour and has elderly waiting for hours. After two hours waiting I left . Your spine is such a critical part of your party I can't trust someone to possibly operate on my spine and in return can't simply honor your time even with an explanation. I'm a disabled Veteran and was referred here from the VA . No way I will let this guy touch my back based on this experience

I was at ER. Just talk w me 5 minutes. No patience. Trying to push to do a brain surgery for tumor. Thank u lord! I’m going to NYC! Praying for better doctor in Vegas!

If it wasn't for Dr forage I do believe I would be in a wheel chair already I've been in severe pain since 2000 when I fractured my lower lumbar my migraines are finally gone thank Dr thank you

This Dr has no time management skills at all, if you schedule an appointment with him you’re guaranteed to be waiting in the lobby for an hour or longer

My husband was seen by Dr Forage at UMC he is dismisses and changes his story constantly. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR he is rude arrogant rolls his eyes and has no respect for his patients or their patients family.

Had very little time to visit with me prior to surgery. During surgery 2 of my ribs were broken. No one said anything about it. Dr Forage told my husband that I did fine and left the hospital. I was released from the hospital with possible gas bubble in my left side. Returned to ER 4 days later for horrible pain in the left rib cage. A ct Scan showed 2 broken ribs. My recovery time has now doubled. Not to mention more hospital bills.

DR Forage is a poor and unprofessional medical person. Went to see him about terrible back and sciatica pain today. Had bad back in the past and disc issues. I had recent unrelated surgery and had been confined to recliner. Sciatica been unbearable and debilitating for last couple weeks. Even went to ER a week ago to get shots and pain meds to cope. He came into office looked a couple things over and said ok, well I'll order shots for you. When I asked about how to manage pain he said" I guess ibuprofen" and literally walked out of the room. NO exam, No questions about my recent surgery (how would he know if maybe that wasn't the cause), No strategies on heat, ice, PT, massage, elevation, anything at all! NO personality as if coming in was a bother he had to see me at appt. This was my only second time seeing him. My husband and I then just looked at each other in amazement. WE immediately left that office and will never see him again. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! All those reviews about him and bed side manner are spot on!
