When I visited her for the first time she and I went over my info. Since I was a new patient she could only give me general information. While there she made a statement I did not quite understand, she said normally . when you have a lumpectomy it does not remove all of the cancer cells. I should have asked her to elaborate on that more. I was little afraid I guess, since I have nevere dealt with Breast Cancer before. Ive noticied the doctors here in Nevada are a little disconnected when dealing with patients, I guess that's something I will have to get use to coming from another state.

Dr. Holdridge spent a great deal of time with my husband and I explaining the type of cancer and the recommended treatments. Understanding is key to dealing with the diagnosis. Her kind and caring demeanor gave us the confidence we needed to move forward with the recommended treatments. She's a "Star" in my books.

If I could would give her zero stars. This Doctor was very arrogant and insensitive .After having a consultation with her it was obvious she was not the Oncologist for me

I am now more than 3 1/2 years (colon) cancer free. Early diagnosis, I'm certain saved my life.. but not without the expertise of both my surgeon and Dr. Holdridge. It started with the professionalsim and air of confidence I got from both of them. Their willingness to share and explain the science only served to reinforce that initial impression. The continual monitoring to make sure all involved are doing their job. My wife and I lost a friend to colon cancer at 47.. we only wish we would have known and pointed him in Dr. Holdridge's direction! I remain eternally grateful for having been pointed in her direction.

Unfortunately, due to our insurance coverage we are not able to see Dr. Holdridge again. I offered to pay OUT OF NETWORK CHARGES BUT I guess Comprehensive Cancer Centers is not really interested in my wife as a patient. Furthermore, we HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A NEW ONCOLOGIST. I would have thought that as large as CCCs is, they would have done a better job of assisting me and my wife in finding a qualified Oncologist. Always about money. I have been under her care for several years. She is always professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, she conveys a true sense of caring about you as an individual, not just a disease. I am heartbroken that her group has been dropped by my provider.

Dr. Holdridge got me through Stage 4 Colon Cancer and now at 5 plus years I am cancer free. She was honest, informative, and a wonderful doctor throughout. My appointments were always on-time and she took the necessary time to answer all my questions. Very compassionate. I could not be happier. She is a wonderful doctor!
