This is my 3rd bout with breast cancer, I was referred to Dr. Christiansen when my previous doctor retired and I like her so much better. She listens and is very compassionate.

When I was moving to vegas in the middle of undergoing chemotherapy I had to pretty much fight to get seen. When I showed up at the time they sent me in writing in their text message they told me I was thirty minutes late and they were going to cancel my appointment. They didn’t bother to apologize for sending me the wrong information, When I went to see dr.Christensen she talked to me like I was a child and said her patients aren’t late and I can’t come back if I’m not going to be on time, it was unprofessional and their office was the one in the wrong. second appointment she didn’t even bother to show up, she told me I was late the first appointment and than didn’t even show up for the second appointment her nurse made an excuse for her and said she had a family emergency. I had to meet with the PA and didn’t feel like I received the care I needed. Dr.Christensen's nurse was even worse. I was in stage four cancer and worked everyday while I was doing chemo, never missed one day of work until I developed a giant mouth sore. I had blood coming from my back teeth and an open hole in my mouth that went to the root of my tooth. I called to ask for a doctors note for work and her nurse told me. “We aren’t going to write you a doctors note just because you don’t want to go to work”. I immediately used the patient portal to report this in writing

The Drs and nurses at CCCN have gone above and beyond in the care and wellfare of my mother. She has been a patient there now for over 2 years and has recieved very good care.
