Whasn Essential Henderson's Online Review Report Card

I called the Henderson location and I told the receptionist or scheduler if when is the earliest appointment they can give me and she stated she can get me in tomorrow. She asked me what insurance do I have and I told her I have UHC then asked me what's the reason for my visit and I told her I've been feeling dizzy and didn't even let me finish speaking and said "oh you're probably pregnant and I can get you in for April 5". I kindly asked her and said can I be seen tomorrow? then she replied in annoyed/yelling tone "I JUST TOLD YOU I CAN GET YOU IN ON THE APRIL 5!!!", I was so upset cause she did not even say or explain why she could not get me in tomorrow instead of next week and just told her good customer service and hung-up the phone. You really need to check the person who is making the schedule and how they are treating your future patients, I have read the reviews and been seeing that this location is busy but that is not an excuse to treat people like that, if you dont like you job quit! I called the Skye Canyon location and the person I spoke with is nice and gave me all the information I needed.

I keep calling to schedule an appointment and being told that I’m dismissed from WHASN and need to speak with management about it. The office keeps telling me I’ll receive a call back from a manager, but I never get a call. I just want to know why I’ve been dismissed from scheduling with WHASN and if that can be reversed since I did absolutely nothing wrong. The office workers explain it’s because I rescheduled/canceled a few appointments at a different location which is because I started a new job and didn’t have a set shift yet and couldn’t take time off so I had to move some appointments around. Why would you dismiss someone because of something like that? People have lives and things happen; working on-call jobs makes it tough to schedule anything. Now I have a set shift and can’t make an appointment with an OBGYN or at least be able to speak with someone about it. That is really harsh for something that small and for something as crucial as women’s healthcare banning you, I think it’s ridiculous that I cannot receive the care that I need from WHASN and have to struggle to find another provider. Shame on you WHASN!

All the Doctors - from Ivie to Brill to Garg - the entire staff is unparalleled in their service and care.The entire time of our high risk pregnancy from ultrasounds to panicked calls to the office about every ache, cramp, cry, and kick, they were there to walk us off the ledgeThey rotate doctors through the week so you don't know who you'll get for delivery, but their care is consistent as diversified as their mannerisms. I honestly believe they helped usher in early all of the future of Las Vegas. It's very rare that I hear someone with OB/GYN outside of WHASN,Hats off to you all - thank you for helping us through a successful delivery!

I called to make an appointment, the lady who answered was very rude. She asked are you calling to schedule an appointment? I said yes. She asked are you patient? I said yes, I am a new patient. She said I asked you and hung up. Very very rude person working at the scheduling. If you are ready to be treated like that you can go to them.

Worst customer service ever. I call to make an appointment, and this woman was only concerned about my age. I’m 20 years old, but I sound very young. I can’t help that, but to speak to me as if I am some naive child is very rude. I didn’t even get to make an appointment. They can’t see me anytime soon, so I decided not to proceed. Then, I was hung up on. I don’t recommend visiting this place whatsoever.

It is so hard to get ahold of anyone at this place. I requested to get a call back and never did. Called again waited a while to just be sent to the voicemail? Ridiculous.

Absolutely disgusted by this staff at Henderson WHASN. The Dr Samantha Schoenhaus cancelled an entire day of appointments and instead of doing the right and ethical thing just acts like everyone from Monday is now SOL. Even her phone staff doesn't apologize for the fact now, after their availability is already hard af and it's ridiculous trying to even make an appointment with how LAZY the staff is, yes I said LAZY because there's no excuse for the inability to get someone on the phone in a timely manner with the number of staff....but I digress. But knowing all this having the audacity to just be like oh well' your appointment that you made because you're worried you may have ovarian cancer isnt important to us so how about you reschedule 3 months from now....likeIt's JOKE. Your entire staff is a joke. WHASN when it had Dr Michael's and Nguyen was amazing. Now every OG/GYN has horrible reviews. This broad has the best and she isn't even 4 stars in fact she's 2.5 on other reviews boards. So her 3 isn't impressive.... How inconsiderate and uncaring about womens health are you?! Clearly you don't care about your patients. Every single woman scheduled on Monday should have been priority scheduling and weren't/aren't. It's not right and it's not fair!! WHASN DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WOMENS HEALTH. I am firmly advocating for the full investigation by Darci at channel 13. Y'all need to be exposed. This is cruel to women. The only ones they make exceptions for are pregnant women and even then they don't take care of them. Nurse Anna at Smoke ranch location is 100% at fault for me developing pre eclampsia as she never told my OBGYN at the time the concern regarding my BP. WHASN FAILS WOMEN AT EVERY TURN. Their high risk department also failed to see my sons cord wrapped around his neck 4 times and every other medical professional I know says that's something unmissable. But good ole WHASN missed it. WHASN FAILS WOMEN!!! You don't care about women and your current OBGYNs and nurse practitioners don't either. Sad. Should be ashamed. And this doctor is a big B word IMO because who tf calls out for ONE DAY claiming to be sick and doesn't re schedule or prioritize those patients canceled!? Especially when they're concerns. Unethical. Absolutely terrible. Oh! And what takes the cake is I had 3 appointments scheduled and they canceled my other 2 prior to this one and told me it was ok because I had this one, then this one got canceled!!!!! AGAIN HUGE EFFING JOKE!!!! WHASN is the worst and this Dr does not care about womens health, unless you're pregnant and then they can charge delivery fees your insurance won't cover. LOL again FAILURE TO WOMEN.

The front office staff seem to hate their jobs and dread being there, good luck getting any of them to smile at you or show you any compassion! You will not be able to reach anyone by phone, you will have to leave a message with the call center and get a call back within 24-48 hours…while pregnant this is scary! They never seem to know what is going on with your insurance, and simple questions about copays and any “why”s annoy them…as if it isn't their job to make your visit comprehensible. It really is a shame, because once you get past these miserable people the doctors and nurses have been pleasant and knowledgeable. I am now 8 months pregnant and it’s too late to seek out a new facility, but I really wish I would have and I will be for my next pregnancy. If these doctors didn’t work for this company or started from scratch and had compassionate, attentive, professional front office staff it would be a total game changer!

I would like to be greeted upon signing on the clipboard at receptionist deskPlace seemed busy and had good traffic but arriving before Appointment time at least for my visit you have to wait approximately 30 minutes before officially checking in.

I have been a patient here for over 5 years. I absolutely would recommend WHASN. The physicians have monitored both of my pregnancies and delivered both of my babies. Throughout your pregnancy, you are given the opportunity to meet with each physician during appointments. This helps you become familiar with each one of them because you never know who will be the attending physician at the hospital when you deliver. I have to give a huge shout out to the OB nurse Natalie. She is amazing and incredibly attentive to your needs. If you are experiencing any complications, you can call and leave a voicemail. Natalie calls you back almost immediately and deals with whatever your needs may be. I also really like that you can get all your healthcare needs met in one convenient location (blood work, urine analysis, check-ups, ultrasounds, etc) This makes the overall experience convenient and stress free. Thanks WHASN staff!
