List of Christel Marshall's Reviews
Christel is professional, thoughtful, incredibly caring, and thorough. She brings a high level of excellence and experience to this community and we are so lucky to have her.
We are so grateful for the care Christel has provided for our family. She is an excellent listener and really makes the extra effort to put us at ease even when we're freaking out about some injury or illness. Strongly recommend!
Christel is so patient and kind. Even if your kiddo is scared of visiting the doctor, she will somehow manage to get them to leave smiling. Christel is so dedicated to helping others that she even saw my 3 year old son on her day off. I can't speak highly enough of her, without Christel I would've been driving 45 minutes to Reno to wait in an Urgent Care.
How Crystal Marshall ended my life. Crystal Marshall was my nurse practitioner in 2016-2017. In October 2016 I went in because I was having trouble breathing when exercising and I had a raised heart rate. We took a X-ray and saw nothing suspicious. No other pursuit or interest to look further. I came in 6 or 7 times for 10 more months with me always pursuing her, not her perusing the issue. When my d-dimer (that detects blood clots) was 8 times higher than normal she said “your d-dimer is elevated, but I’m not concerned.” As my symptoms got worse and now couldn’t access half my lungs and my heart raising to 130+ just going up a couple steps and loss of breath, she sent me to get a pulmonary test (I thought I’d see a pulmonologist but only got a tech). This demonstrated nothing because I was at rest not moving. Finally, 9 months into it she ordered the right thing, a CT scan. I chose Reno Diagnostics because they were 1/4 the price. When they sent the order down they sent with the CT scan without contrast. We tried to call them several times to change it to “with contrast” but nobody answered the phone. That is typical with them. So I went ahead and got the scan without contrast. A few days later I got a call from Crystal saying that there was nothing abnormal with the ct scan, and she didn’t pursue it any further, even knowing that this was the wrong scan. I went to Vegas and played in a wsop tournament which had me sitting for 2 days. When I got back home I went to see Crystal because I was in really bad shape. She referred me to a pulmonologist which took a week. The pulmonologist knew immediately what it was and had another ct scan ordered with contrast. This took another week. I was barely hanging on that week. After the scan they rushed me to a hospital. Massive amount of pulmonary embolisms in my lungs. I was in intensive care and had vena cava filter inserted to catch all the blood clots coming up from my leg (DVT). I bled for 24 hours in intense trauma after the operation. I made a total recovery from all this. But me and my girlfriend noticed I wasn’t the same when exercising. Eventually I started to slurr my speech then choke on food and drink, then my neck got heavy. Eventually I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. I lived with this for Six months, then they changed the diagnosis to ALS. I’m still walking around the house but it gets worse every day. This will get me soon enough. I’m in isolation on death row but I can’t eat solid foods can’t sleep well and doing time before I die.She never pursued, I always had to push. And the symptoms on their symptoms checker said “go straight to the ER” when I entered them. Even just the early symptoms said go straight to the ER! I put too much trust in Crystal Marshall and now I can barely move and barely eat and just waiting to die one of the worst ways possible. She’s a nice person but not the right person to trust your life with. I’m very scared and sad 😞

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
