Wonderful sleep medicine doctor. Finally able to sleep through the night! Much healthier!

The BEST doctor!

Dr Steljes is amazing. I had seen a diff Dr and he told me I was fine, I knew I wasn’t so I went to Dr Steljes and He spent months trying to figure out what was wrong with me, referred me out of state where I was diagnosed with a rare disease that probably would have killed me if not for him asking for someone else to see me! His office staff are awesome!

0 stars indeed this office is terrible and dr Steljus is all about sleep apnea studies that is all he does now and his nurse Mar is her name rude harsh complains about everything and everyone you would think a heart doc would care about your blood pressure just makes you feel like your wasting his time .check in and check out very nice 5 stars to them.

Dr. Steljes May be a wonderful doctor BUT his staff is terrible. They don’t return phone calls. I had to wait 6 months to get a repeat sleep study done because the person in charge never called me back. I recently made an appointment to see him again after 2 years and was called and told my appointment was cancelled. This is May, and the new appointment isn’t until July. My husbands appointment was made a year ago. This isn’t right! Ever since they changed to Nevada Heart NBHC it’s been horrible phone service. He may be excellent but the experience is frustrating! Either he doesn’t have efficient people working for him or he doesn’t provide a good enough salary to attract efficient people. My internists office runs smoothly because he has good, well trained staff.

Wonderful doctor - answers questions, listens to patients and cares about his patients and their concerns. I would and have highly recommended him to friends.

Steljes Who can be found at Nevada Heart & Vascular 2839 St Rose Parkway, #160 Henderson, NV 89052 702-240-8529 As a patient of his for over fifteen years I can say that I have never been treated with anything but the utmost kindness and consideration not just by Dr. Steljes but also by his fine team of nurses, medical professionals and office staff. I am particularly grateful to Dr. Steljes for jumping right in and wasting no time when my normally obedient heart suddenly became my “wayward” heart in October of 2017. Without his quick intervention, his medical skills and his determination to do everything possible to help me, I believe I would have had either a very serious heart attack or stroke, either of which could have led to my demise. Instead, I am here to tell the tale and I firmly believe that my eighty-two year old heart is in the very best of hands with Dr. Steljes watching over it and me

I went to this doctor for uncontrolled hypertension. He had me on 5 medications to control it. He did refer me to an Endocrinologist after over 1 year of being treated, and my test results were negative. I waited 6 weeks to see that specialist and you would have thought that maybe a phone call could have made the process 4-5 weeks sooner. Especially with blood pressures over 200. When he saw how upset I was, his attitude changed and he told me, “Perhaps you should find another provider.” Well I did! And his nurse had such an attitude most of the time. He’s very superficial with ordering tests. It was ANOTHER cardiologist that repeated all of my cardiac testing from over a year and a half ago. He’s not a bad doctor, but he was not a good match for me. I’m a retired ICU RN.

Doctor Steljes saved my life. He did not give up on me, when other doctors did. Doctor Steljes is brilliant. Only cardiologist I will ever go to. Thank you for giving me my heart back. I was able to dance at my daughter’s wedding. Others doctors did not think I would have made it to walk her down the aisle. I will always be grateful.
