List of Anthony Arslan's Reviews
My husband has an obvious bump/ right groin, goes to anyone on his insurance at SW Medical that could be seen asap. Arslan was the most readily avail at a 7 day or so wait & husband goes. Inguinal hernia/poss Ca-doc feels dx & surgery needs to be done asap, & his office will schedule an ABD/Pelvis CT immediately. A day or two later, & Steinberg Dx calls ready to schedule the CT. Steinberg is not on his insurance--SW Med is. The office was shown his insurance before his visit. We call Arslan's office to clarify, & they schedule it at Steinberg again. They are called. They promise to call back to confirm a CT being scheduled at SW Med. No call. Next day Desert West Surg Center calls wanting to schedule surgery. We advise them that no CT has been done yet--& after telling Desert West his insurance, they say they can't schedule now anyway, because Arslan's office should have gotten authorization from Optum Care Gen surgeon before trying to schedule. Good doc/office poss overwhelmed.
Provided excellent care for my elderly parents. My wife and I also receive care with Dr. Arslan. He takes time with our questions and visit. Truly cares about our health and well-being.
Worst doctor I've had in 42 years. I didn't like his personality. I asked about a couple prescription medications and he was not aware of them. He had an odd attitude with me multiple times in person. I am not exaggerating when I say almost every refill or medication filled went to the wrong location. I would fill it through the app and they make you choose the location, and then in the notes I would say the location. And he would send it somewhere else. I would say Walmart and it would be Walgreens. I would choose the one by my house and they would choose the one on the other side of town. More than once the prescription strength was wrong. Many times I asked for a 90 days and didn't get it. I've seen two other doctors at his same practice/building and both of them were light years better. Yesterday a refill was denied because they want me to come in during the pandemic, I said I had new insurance and would see a new doctor. So he called Walgreens and canceled my refills. LOL

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
