Arthur Pedregal Md's Online Review Report Card

Appointment was at 9:30am. I arrived at 9:10. I drove one hour to get there, filled out the forms, and waited until 11:00am. After an hour and a half of waiting, they told me that the doctor couldn't see me because I didn't have a referral. I actually called them 1 month before the appointment to make sure they got the referral from my primary doctor and they confirmed that they had it. Horrible customer service!

I’ve known Dr. Pedregal since high school, and we also were in undergraduate classes together, along with residency, before each going into our respective specialties. I’ve referred patients to him, but took a family member to him recently despite the primary care physician referring her to a different neurologist. Why? Because I would rather go out-of-network and pay out-of-pocket, knowing the kind of physician he is. He didn’t disappoint. He has perhaps the most remarkable bedside manner that you’ll find anywhere, and is like an open book insofar as his medical expertise goes. Simply amazing. Structured, detailed, intelligent, calming, warm, compassionate, witty. Everything you’d hope to find in not only a physician, but in a human being as well. I can’t say enough good things about him. I’ve read some reviews, and I’m stunned by any negative comments. Trust me. You may wait a little longer, but the reason is because he will not end the session if the patient still has questions. He spent a good hour with us, and left no stone unturned. I would recommend Dr. Pedregal unreservedly.

Always takes time to explain everything, answers questions in a patient manner; never feel rushed. Sing his praise's whenever the opportunity presents itself. I've been his patient several years. During this time he continued ordering MRI, MRA and cognitive testing (nothing like previous Neuro) Discovering him was a blessing. His office staff complements his friendly and efficient attitude. He is one of the best doctors I've ever had the privilege of knowing.

Dr. Pedregal has been my doctor for more than 25yrs. He was there for me before, during and after my three emergency brain surgeries in 2007. I am now experiencing new problems which he is taking care of just as he did before. Dr. Pedregal is not only the best in his field, he really loves and cares about his patients. I trust him with my life. They do not make doctors like this anymore. I thank God for Dr. Pedregal .

Misdiagnosed for years by Dr Pedregal. If he would have bothered to look at the MRIs he ordered he would have seen that I had MS all along. 2004 2006 2010 He first concluded Neuropathy. Then when my symptoms worsened he overlooked it once again - thinking I was making this stuff up. Trip to the ER showed my lesions have been there since first MRI in 2004. Scary ! You know your body so don’t give in to the pompousness of some doctors!

Super doctor, PA and staff. Best neurologist I have ever been to. Actually listens to the patient, is a down to earth yet very intelligent doctor. Compassionate and efficient. Excellent care.

Refuses to work with patient's insurance companies on recommended treatment. Dismissive of patient concerns. Will order multiple tests with no explaination of results. Withheld results of my MRI for over a year until I requested the paperwork, which showed 2 growths. Rude and arrogant, not open to growth. Only one phone line, so you can't get ahold of staff without calling 10+ times. Usually runs late, by 2 hour so. Tiny, crowded waiting room. Staff is kind and welcoming, the only consolation.

Very bright, caring, good sense of humor, Easy to talk to, takes time with each patient, explains in easily understood layman language. Highly recommend!
