This doctor doesn’t like to be woken up at night unless “the patient is dying.” My father suffered because of his apathy. I’m surprised this jerk is still employed.

Had to sit in the hospital for two days before I got to see this guy. Made me wait and sit in the hospital for no reason other than I had to check my blood sugar. Complete waste of time and money. I can’t even get a nurse to contact him because he apparently gets really angry when nurses call him while he’s not on the clock. He doesn’t care about his patients.

Dr. Mahgerefteh is an Internal Medicine doctor with Platinum Hospitalists in Henderson, NV. Lack of timely communication with family. Failure to listen to and respect family. Always in a hurry. Questionable competency.

My experience was less than stellar. Failed to communicate with family in a timely, consistent manner. Bills for 25 to 35 minute "appointments", actual time spent, less than five. Answers often conflict with other doctors or he understates results of tests and procedures.
