Waited close to 3 weeks for my sr. Mother to see dr. Brimhall for a second opinion on a serious case where another ophthalmologist had referred her to a retina specialist. Didnt trust the first drs office as there were so many mistakes. Arrived for appt w brimhall where receptionist advised us he was the "wrong kind of dr and they didn't deal w retina issues" i tried to explain we wanted a second opinion. She kept insisting he was the wrong kind of dr and questioning our decision to see him...confusing us. Then she said she had called ealier that morning and left messages to tell me. Which I didnt get. Even after I paid and said we wanted to have a 2nd opinion she kept pressing as to whether we really wanted to see him and had the nerve to say.."are you sure..you better make up your mind fast as he is getting ready to leave for another location?"!! At that point it was so upsetting my mom was getting nauseas...we just asked for a refund and left. Later I checked for messages on my cell phone..there were 2 she left a half hour before appt!!! Really? We were on the road at that time traveling there from opposite side of town. It took us an hour to drive there..waste of time and gas. And we never got to see dr. After all that time. She also looked at wrong info on referring dr paperwork. Old info. Maybe hes a good dr maybe not. We will never know...but he definitely isnt very compassionate..he didnt even step out to see if my mother was ok. There was noone else in the waiting room. I've never been so upset w a drs office...shame on them. All I can say is his office staff is incompetent and ruining his business. I was so angry driving home. Mom was sick from bring dragged out of bed early and across town for nothing. Horrible office. Horrible!

I wanted to share my experience and my results from Dr. Brimhall. This angel, this special experience doctor saved me! His compassion and scientific knowledge not only cleared my pterygium #2, but cancer in my right eye. I went to 4 doctors beforeThe universe guided me to Dr. Brimhall. If you are looking for an optimoligist who cares more than anyone I know and,who knows what he's doing and, can produce miracles, go to Dr. Brimhall. I thank him, and my children thank him for saving my life! 💜

Dr. Brimhall is a very good eye doctor. He saw me without an appointment first thing in the morning after a branch of a tree went into my left eye while I was walking my dog the night before, rendering me blind. He became very excited when he took a look into my eye and told me that I suffered a cornea abrasion, but would regain my full sight in a couple of weeks. It took five days to regain my full sight. I then used Dr. Brimhall to do cataract surgery on my other eye two weeks later. The surgery turned out to be a rousing success, but I suffered quite a bit initially because I have a very severe case of dry eye and blepharitis and was not able to apply very warm compresses and use my medicated wipes during the first week. I was, in fact, in a lot of pain the first few weeks after surgery and my vision did not return right away. Dr. Brimhall was pretty insensitive to those who suffer from blepharitis and dry eye and reiterated his abstract statistical line that 90% of vision is regained during the first week after cataract surgery. Dr. Brimhall told me that he thinks that people who suffer from blepharitis and dry eye overreact to their symptoms. Maybe Dr. Brimhall needs to experience a severe case of blepharitis and dry eye to understand and sympathize with our plights. It took me a full 3 months to regain my full sight after the cataract surgery and I had pain in the eye for a full month after surgery. And I know this for a fact because I had an eye test after one month and after 3 months of surgery with an optometrist and I needed to change my lenses after 3 months. When I had cataract surgery in the other eye 18 years earlier before I had blepharitis and dry eye, I had no problems whatsoever after surgery. The bottom line is that Dr. Brimhall is a very good eye doctor and cataract surgeon, but needs to develop a heart for those who suffer from blepharitis and dry eye. Although it eventually worked out in my case, I don't think I can recommend Dr. Brimhall to those who suffer from a severe case of blepharitis and dry eye.

I found Dr. Brett Brimhall on Google searching for the best cataract surgeon in Las Vegas. The appointment staff was very kind and helpful. I was scheduled to see Dr. Brimhall within a week. Dr. Brimhall, the technician-Ms. Lupi and the counselor-Andrew were very professional and efficient. Dr. Brimhall was able to operate my cataract surgery within two weeks. I am very grateful and thankful to them. Dr. Brimhall and his staff are awesome.

Dr Brimhall is amazing! I have never been thanked for being in a docs office until Dr Brimhall. He is personable, professional and caring. His staff are efficient and very caring as well. His surgical skills are remarkable. I highly recommend Dr Brimhall

Brimhall Eye Center comes highly recommended for cataract surgery. Dr. Thompson is awesome. The appointments were on time with knowledgeable staff. Dr Thompson personally made follow-up calls after each surgery & made himself available throughout the process. The staff in pre-op, Linda & Carol were the best ever, they made you feel like family. Andrew who assisted during surgery made it very relaxed, comfortable, & pleasant. Appointment reminders & prescriptions were all done in a timely manner. What a great experience. Five Stars all the way around!

I had my cataracts implanted about four years ago. We moved to Florida and I saw an ophthalmologist here. His first words upon examining my eyes was “beautiful” and said that Dr. Brimhall’s work was excellent. His specialty was doing high-end cataract implants so he is an expert. Dr. Brimhall is extremely talented and if you choose him, you will be in excellent surgical hands!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bramhall and his staff. I had Pterygium surgery twice, Once on my left eye a few years ago, The results are amazing, haven’t had any issues. And just recently on my right eye, again results have been amazing, no issues! This doctor is so sweet and caring, would not go to anyone else!
