When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, Dr Vicuna was my oncologist. He is very nice but I met with him quite a few times and during each visit, I felt like a new patient. I felt like he never read my charts and didn’t know my history. Each visit I had to remind him of certain things and I never left there completely understanding what he was recommending. I knew I needed and deserved more as this was and is a very scary time in my life so I put a transfer of care in and now am completely happy with my choice.

He is courteous and takes the time to explain things so the patient can understand what is really going on. He understands that he is dealing with people who are experiencing some of the worst things they could imagine, and is really there for you. I would also like to acknowledge that although it is hard to get through to anyone quickly the staff will always respond.

Dr Vicuna has a way of making you feel comfortable with uncomfortable situations. His knowledge about his field is second to none and yet he can explain things in a personal and laymen's way. If you are unfortunate to need an Oncologist and you live in southern Nevada please consider Dr Vicuna, you will be glad you did. Also the staff at Comprehensive Cancer Center is always so friendly and helpful. They are very busy but still make you feel important. Thank you Dr Vicuna for everything you have done and are doing for me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Vicuna today and my experience was the best I have had since I was diagnosed. He was calm, educated and showed interest in me and my needs. This is the first Oncologist that agrees with/offered me the treatment plan I have been requesting for a year now. I am so happy to have been paired with him!! FYI...My fight with breast cancer has been horrible due to the previous doctors I had before finding Dr. Vicuna! I was going to seek treatment in Arizona if he didn't say what I went to here. I must say he definitely exceeded my expectations!! Hope your experience is the same or better!!

This Doctor, as in Dr. Vicuna is just awesome. He’s thorough with his work. He is passionate about his work and, overall wellness of his patients. I was a referral to him and Dr. Vicuna made me feel like everything was going to be just fine. Lo and behold, he was 100% right. My blood work came back and my worries are now a thing of the past. Dr.Vicuna was happy for me as he was going through my paperwork with me via telemed and I saw his face lit up with joy and his genuine happiness for me over my bloodwork and that made me happy. During my appointment, he asked me 2 separate times if I had questions because he wanted me to know that I could ask questions if I had any concerns. Dr.Vicuna is a good listener and doesn’t rush you off at all. Overall, and so far from what I observed…Very good medical practitioner. Now I see why I was referred to him by Dr. K.

Dr Vicuna is excellent, but the staff NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I CANNOT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT.

Dr. Vicuna is very personable, very thorough and answers all of my questions. Blood draws are fast and easy. All-in-all Dr. Vacuna provides an excellent service. My health is ibn his hands.
