Multiple visits with Dr. Weiner over the years and have found him extremely knowledgeable, not only about medical conditions, but about my health in particular. He is kind and caring and willing to go out of his way to meet my healthcare needs. My wife sees him also and neither of us would think about going to anyone else. Extraordinary find!

Made initial appointment for Dr. Buena. When arriving was told that he had no openings and I would have to see someone else. Just walked out in disgust. Does not good to have Southwest Medical make an appointment and not be able to see the doctor you scheduled your appointment for be available or have any openings at all. Poor medicine pracitices.

Dr. Carlo Buena is a very compassionate doctor. He listens to all of our (me and my husband) concerns. He is very thorough in explaining . We've been very satisfied with the excellent care and attention that we have received with this doctor. Dr. Carlo Buena provided the absolute best care. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. Even though we live at the other side of town, we will definitely go out of our way to see Dr. Buena for future check ups.

I like the guy...he listens and gets done what I need

Dr. Buena spends a lot of time with me during visits yet those visits rarely produce any kind of treatment or results. I feel like the doctor already has their mind made up regarding certain issues and doesn’t properly address patient complaints.

Caring and compassionate doctor

On 8/25/2017 I visited Dr. Carlos Buena office at Southwest Medical on Grand Montecito. After seeing all the negative blogs. I still decided to give him a try. I must say the staff was very nice and professional , but Mr Buena was not a good at all. He didn't care about my concerns that I brought to his attention such as: my back and yearly test: blood, thyroid, glucose..etc. when I asked him about these test. He Ct as if he did not want to honor my request. The day I went to go get my blood drawn and the nurse informed me Dr. Buena only put in for a thyroid test. I was very upset and angry. This is someone you wouldn't want to visit at all. I don't like the fact we don't have Dr.'s that are concerned about your health anymore , but a pay check. This is very sad and one reason why people don't like to go to the Dr.'s. . Please be careful when deciding to see Mr. Buena.

Had to argue with him about what I have been taking for the past 13 years. I think a person knows what and how often you take your medications.Plus I was not even requesting this medication. Pharmacys keep an accurate record I have no idea what he was looking at. I found the whole experience to be a complete waste of time as to Why I went there nothing was taken care of never even had a chance too talk about my concerns.
