Dr did more for me in 5 minutes, than my prior gi did in ten years. He is an amazing Dr.
Been trying to get my prescription for a month. First they said it’s my pharmacy‘s fault my pharmacy has tried and try to work with them then they said the only person that can issue it is the doctor still no response. No one ever calls me back and I have made numerous calls. Been going to him for several years now ever had this problem before
Didnt help me going for 2nd opinion.
This guy is a condescending jerk. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.
I am a senior citizen with colon problems. This doctor performed a colonoscopy in October and is witness to my condition. When i asked him to fill out FMLA so I don't have to worry about my losing my job, He treated me like I was trying to scam the system. He would not let me talk was very rude and confrontational. When I asked him why he was being so mean to me he told me to go somewhere else. Why would he care why I want the form filled out. Are doctors liable for signing off on fmla?? The final decision would be on my employer. All I wanted was the doctor to write what he KNEW about my condition! And I got thrown out of his office. Shame on you Mukho! Karma will come back and treat you likewise. Don't go to this quack. He could care less about you. Just wants quick money.
When I met first time Dr.Mukhopadhyay,he was very polite. He was patiently listened me and answerd all my questions. The day of my colonoscopy he told me unfortunately I have malignant cancer,he told me ,I am sure but the biopsy results will confirm us later. Unfortunately ,he was right. He helped me right away make an appointment with a cancer surgeon.Personally, I only can tell just a good thigs about Dr.Mukhopadhyay.
God no . I called 7 times today and i got hung up on 7 times ! I was so over it I told the receptionist to forget it . I wanted to be a new patient .
From my experience, it is difficult get ahold of the office and most often the calls are forwarded to an answering service (during hours of operation) and unfortunately they can't make appointments, follow up on tests, etc. There was an instance where I kept trying to call and was told by the answering service to try again in 10 minutes. I called back twice in a span of 45 minutes and was told again to try again in 10 minutes. After telling them I had done so they went ahead and forwarded me to a "back end" phone number and someone finally picked up. This seems very odd to me. This has made it difficult to even get the medication that was prescribed and it seemed that the staff is reluctant to follow up with the doctor for alternative prescriptions covered by the insurance.
I am new to the area and needed a gastroenterologist. I was referred to Dr. Mukahopadhyay. He is through, efficient but also very warm and reassuring. My procedure was completed, I had a follow up appointment and my results were discussed. I was very happy and would highly recommend him. Just a lovely man.
This doctor saved my Life 5 years ago with a very complex flare up of both large and small intestines, c-diff, veremia of the intestine, blood and dna, with a crashed immune system. I owe him my life and will forever be grateful to him. I am as complex as they come having MS, crohns and Colitis, along with other health complications.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
