My name is Marcos colon Vázquez and I'm a patient in Desert hope treatment and I'm so happy to come here cause the staff and the nerses stay on top of my health like it's their life especially Ms NANCY Z , This nurse explain with details what kind of medication I'm putting on my body and she look straight at your eyes when she taking to you in a way that she means what she saying , she's an expert on what she doing , wow I never felt so secure in someone else hands . Thank you NANCY Z for been the best human been on my life....you deserve a 10 starts rating..

How to actual experience there councillors were genuine intelligent insightful and helpful.

This is the absolute worst place to send a family member. They are just out for your money and do not actually care about their patients. No one knows what is going on when you call and if they had it their way they would simply toss their patients out of the curb once the money is received. All the bad reviews are true, proceed with caution.

Desert Hope has been a life saver for me and my family. After struggling with alcohol for many years, I was at a very low point in my life and decided I needed help. I called on the morning of Saturday 12/6, and spoke with Kevin in the admissions department. He was extremely helpful, explained my payment options (which were very reasonable for a 30 day inpatient program) and even made my flight arrangements for me. I was on a plane in less than 8 hours and started my journey towards sustained sobriety. The classes are interactive and informative, the staff was excellent, and the accommodations are beautiful. My case worker Jamie handled all my Leave of Absence and FMLA paperwork, and my individual therapist Laura was amazing. The doctors, nurses, and TA’s really care about you as an individual and I am so happy I went. If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction of any kind, I encourage you to call ♥️

barely any of the staff there is in recovery, so they dont understand and can’t relate with the clients. they also don’t care about their clients. i didn’t meet with my case manager the entire 2 weeks i was there. i met with them the day of my discharge. the therapists there aren’t very good either, except cj he seemed to actually care about his clients. the food was awful.

I am proud to work for a company that helps people change their lives. Desert Hope is a dual diagnosis treatment center. Our team  strives every day to make a difference.

My brother Jason Porter was admitted into Desert Hope in October. He was inpatient for two weeks, then moved to Reso. Reso is a live in out patient treatment. My brother was there for less than two weeks. He was approched 13 days into his treatment at Reso. He was told insurance did not cover where he was at, so he needed to pack his bags and leave. He was homeless, jobless, and broke. He walked down the road and got a hotel room. Ten days later he relapsed. How do you not have discharge planning? How do you not know in advance the amount of time someone has by calling their insurance? If I would have been notified in advance, the day my brother was scheduled to be released, I could have made accomidations for him. He did not want to leave, he wanted to get better. What was his odds of relapsing, being sent suddenly told to leave the only safe place he had known in the last twenty-eight days where he felt safe? I work as a RN in a drug rehab, and mental hospital. We keep people no matter what the insurance pays, until we know they are able to stand on their own. There is money available to all rehabs and mental institutes to help the ones that can't afford treatment, but wants the help. What does he do now?

I am very dissatisfied with the services here. This is Day 3 and no one from this facility has taken the time to return my call. I guess they are concerned about loosing money. My husband is not happy there and wants to be transferred to Greenhouse in TX. We were made promises by Shawna that are not being upheld. I will be contacting his insurance company to make them aware of what is going on. So that they can determine if payments should be made to this facility.Update to my precious review. Its unacceptable when you called me every single day before and now you are saying HIPPA laws how convenient please research your before writing a totally false comment. My husband consented to talking to me from the start. You had no problems talking to me prior to getting his money. I guess I should inform the insurance company that you are holding him there against his will. Owner......you should take the time to do your research and even talk to me. He has made SEVERAL request to be transferred to your other location under American Addiction Centers. Don't make it about money. You are suppose to be helping people not keeping them there against their will. I will now get the insurance company involved.

The nurses & therapist (Ms. Rita) were outstanding. I was very not satisfied with the disconnect between the call center & the facilities. I was told that it was a 5 - 8 day program for detox only & most of the time I would be sleeping & that was far from the truth. I also didn't appreciate being asked to sign documents when I was going thru a rudf detox and couldn't even tell you what I signed. In the end I got what I needed out of the program.
