Desert Vein Institute's Online Review Report Card

Really poor customer service from initial phone calls to estimate my out of pocket costs with my insurance. Referred me to my insurance company who said they can only provide coverage to providers and said I need to get info from provider. The women who answered simply had no useful info and wanted to push me to another person. Eventually I went into billing voicemail with no resolution. My recommendation is to use providers like this and never pay them the full amount. They don’t deserve it. These front line reps don’t care anyway. You bother them while they were looking at their cell phones.

I had 2 procedures. The first was great the second was not. What was worse was their lack of interest and help. They wouldn't even offer suggestions of things I might do to get relief. The doctor was so rushed on the second procedure he barely spoke to me. His demeanor the second go around was very different. It gives me pause as to what was wrong with him. Seek help elsewhere. The front office staff was nice. When I called to cancel the last appointment I let them know I was disappointed in how they handled the second surgery. They didn't care. Stay away.

horrendous, horrible staff, don't recommend at all

I saw Veronica Callier PA-C for spider vein treatment, as well as to have someone to refer to from my own Medspa. She has excellent bedside manner, and explains treatment options thoroughly. I have visible results with first sclerotherapy, very impressed! I highly recommend

After reading some reviews about the staff at this office I braced myself for the worst but it didn't turn out like that. All the staff in the office was friendly and helpful. My appt with Dr. Iwamoto was even earlier than the appt time. This was my first time seeing him. He was thorough in explaining my issues and I left with a renewed sense of relief. Great job everyone!

I had painful and gnarly varicose veins on both legs.I went to desert vein institute saw Dr Carol she recommended closing the veins using closurefast. She set up three different appointments for three procedures I had mild discomfort for a day or two and then perfect results. Just went for my last appointment and was given the all clear. I am so happy with the outcome I wish I had done it sooner can't say enough good about Dr Carol and her staff at desert vein. Everyone was very kind friendly and efficient.I highly recommend

I came here to get laser vein removal for smallish spider veins on my thighs as opposed to sclerotherapy. DO NOT DO IT! I repeat DO NOT GET THIS DONE HERE.. I don't know if it's all laser vein treatment or just this place, but my legs look worse than before. I got nasty bruising which I was told was normal, so I waited a few months to get a more accurate result. Well, my photos speak for themselves. WouLd not go back.

I saw dr reese last week and I had been there before but dr reese has never done anything for me. I hadn't been for a few years. he looked at about 2 inches above my ankle said that looked alright better than a lot he had seen yeah because I wanted him to see my whole leg and show him the immense pain I was having. he totally was not interested in helping me at all probably because I am old and my insurance isn't the best. I think he took a whole 4 minutes with me was absolutely no help and could have cared less about anything I had wrong. was so disappointed because I suffer a lot and was looking forward to being helped.
