Five Star Vein is by far the best spe ialty clinic I have found in the Vegas Valley. I have had laser surgery on both legs.Dr Ruess has a no frills operation, a clean OR Joann his nurse and partner are congenial and compassionate. It has been my privilege to be their patient for a year. I will have my last of 4 injections later this month. Margaret his ultrasound technician and OR nurse is amazing. Gladys the scheduler. Is efficient and kind. I have not experienced any of the negative comments found in the earlier reviews.

I had a skin ulcer on my ankle that I went for treatment at a large hospital wound care clinic for 7 months without it getting better at all. Expensive weekly visits. Out of frustration I tried Dr Ruess and with his treatment the wound started to heal immediately and was completely healed within 3 months. Thank you very much Dr. Ruess and staff.

If you value your veins do you not go to five star veins. Their name should be called no veins, because they will be completely destroyed after being a patient here. This office is by far the most negligent in the specialty. I have permanent damage to both of my legs due to their malpractice (lack of communication, failure to submit claims , and their in ability to preform basic math skills). The complete lack of communication and flat being lied to about my claims has caused irreparable damage. Do not go here! I waisted 7months as a patient here and am worse off for it. I am also filing a formal complaint with the medical board.

Joann, doctor Ruess nurse was most helpful, when I explained that my husband needed a appointment fast, due to his work. Dr. Ruess was very thorough and explained everything we needed to know about his veins. A shorty wait to see the doctor and we were pleased to know earlier diagnosis wasn't what they said.

This so called NURSE JOANN does not have any knowledge of what customer service is she called my employer demanding to talk to a director, when I was clearly able to answer her questions about patient care, she is SOO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I don't know how they have this type of people in any health care or customer service places, they should terminate her ASAP and hire friendly, professional and welcoming nurses. Not just any one with a damn degree that has horrible attitude. this review doesn't even deserve 1 star but I have to give a star to be able to post it, by the way JOANN I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND EITHER CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE AND HELP AND MAKE PEOPLE FEEL WELCOME OR GTFO.

I've found the nurse Joanne to be friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Dr Ruess is equally knowledgeable efficient. Great doctor and staff.

If I could give One star I would .. The nurse Joanne is rude, unprofessional and insulting! This was the worst experience I've ever had . The consultation if you can call it that was done with the door wide open. The nurse spoke very loudly so anyone walking by could hear. She kept questioning any treatments I had done prior to coming there. She told me the doctor might not be able properly due the procedure due to my skin color... Horrible experience!
