Very professional and courteous staff they work really hard to give you the best treatment completely satisfied
My husband had an appointment yesterday at this lovely and efficient office. Dr Cottrell was thorough, efficient and concise. The office staff is amazing! We loved Sheik! Thank you! Diane Dworzack
Amazingly nice staff!! Very thorough doctor. I can't remember the last time I had a new doctor go through my paperwork section by section, like it was important for him to know. Then after reviewing my paperwork, Dr Hirschfeld did a physical exam, looking at the areas that he was going to need to cut during my surgery & again asking many questions. Before he was done with my appointment, he explained what exactly he will be doing during my surgery. He explained to me what test he would like done before my surgery but my insurance would not cover. The test was offered to me with a 50% discount. Because of my medical history, I agreed to do the test so that Dr Hirschfeld would have all the pertinent information he needed to make better decision during my surgery. I definitely feel confident in whatever choices Dr Hirschfeld makes during my surgery!
DR COTTRELL = CROOKED BILLING & FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES we called them as we did other doctors & told them we are shopping around different doctors for a meet & greet to determine which Dr we wanted to work with & advised there would be no medical evaluation only a discussion of his practice compared to others. We advised the admin & Dr Cottrell UPFRONT before coming in and they agreed like other DRs there is no charge for a meet & greet . ALL other Dr's also said no problem and there were no charges from them. We're trying to GIVE him business & evaluate him and he charges us for evaluating him? He later charges me & sends to collections after we write a strong letter to him. STAY AWAY, THERE ARE MORE ETHICAL THAN THIS CROOK
I have had bad leg cramps and pains for years & despite of my efforts to try to elevate my legs to relieve the discomforts, I was then referred to General Vascular Specialist. My overall experience has been great, the receptionist is always so nice and helpful, the medical assistant was also wonderful & Dr.Cotrell was also very professional & great with my surgeries and treatments & attentive with my concerns. My favorite is their ultrasound tech Jennifer who has been so great from day one. She carefully explained my conditions, was so helpful with my anxieties before my surgery. I can tell with how she helps patient shows how passionate she is with her job & would do her best to help patients. On the other hand, I am I feel the opposite with Kathryn, their medical assistant/office manager. When I asked for a possible extension to take time off due to existing pain, her attitude towards me has been so harsh & I feel that she is treating me like I have done something wrong. The way she talked to me is very abrupt, harsh & seems like she’s irritated. When I was in the waiting room, and a patient kept knocking to allow him to come in, I got up and opened the door for him & Kathryn was there & scolded me that I shouldn’t have done that & that they should be the one to allow patients to come in. In all my experiences with Dr’s office and visits, I feel with Kathryn the way she talks to me is making me feel awful inside. I wasn’t aware of the new protocol due to Covid and I was just trying to help. I don’t know if she was rude to me because that’s her candor or if it’s because I’m an Asian woman. I don’t want to go with the race thing but that is how I felt coming from her. I hope writing this review will help Kathryn with her future association with other patients. Other than this issue, my experience with my treatments and the rest of the staff with General Vascular Specialist is great. Thank you for helping me with my legs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
