List of Genesis Rising Surrogacy Center's Reviews
My experience with Genesis Rising has been absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the very first conversation, I could tell how much care, knowledge, and integrity this team brings to every part of the surrogacy process. Everything went so smoothly thanks to their professionalism and the way they communicate so openly and thoroughly. Every question I had, no matter how big or small , was always met with patience, understanding, and a detailed explanation. What truly set Genesis Rising apart for me was their complete transparency. Every step, from the initial screenings to the matching process to escrow, was clearly outlined and explained. I always felt fully informed and confident in every decision. It made such a difference to have a team that not only guided me through the logistics, but also cared deeply about my emotional well-being throughout the journey. Beyond their top-tier care, Genesis Rising made the most perfect match for me. The relationship that came from this experience is one I will treasure forever. I now have a lifelong friend because of the thoughtfulness and dedication they put into matching us. I am so thankful for this compassionate, professional, and genuinely kind team who made my entire journey such a positive and meaningful experience. If I ever choose to do another journey, there is no doubt it will be with Genesis Rising. They have truly set the standard for what a surrogacy agency should be & for that reason alone I have also been lucky enough to recently join the Genesis Rising Team!
Beware of Genesis Rising Surrogacy Center! Genesis Rising wasted months of our time and thousands of dollars, providing no meaningful service in return. The Screening Deception: Genesis told us we needed to fund our escrow account to pay for "medical screening." They then charged us $2,000 for what they called "screening" (which turned out to be just matching us with a candidate, separate from their agency fees). Months later, the IVF clinic is now asking us to pay for the actual medical screening. The word "screening" was used ambiguously, leading us to believe we were paying for medical screening, when it was actually just a matching fee. Matching with Disqualified Candidate: Our only requirement was a Vegas-based gestational carrier. Genesis matched us with someone who required expensive travel (flights, hotels, dining, Ubers, and even airport parking for her car back home). More seriously, our clinic informed us this candidate had already been screened previously and required serious surgery before she could carry a child. She was not medically cleared, yet Genesis used our escrow funds for her travel and presented her as "qualified." When I emailed Valerie (July 30 and August 4) requesting a new GC, she ignored my messages. Later, she claimed the GC "was never screened" - contradicting what the IVF clinic had told us. Unauthorized Spending: They spent our escrow funds on premium travel for a disqualified candidate without our approval. When we questioned these expenses, they abruptly terminated our contract rather than address our legitimate concerns. The Bait-and-Switch: Before we signed, they promised our total costs would be "$110,000 to $125,000 for a typical journey." After signing, they refused any responsibility for budget and said they wouldn't honor anything said by phone or email - only the contract language. Our Experience: Genesis Rising lacks transparency, accountability, and responsiveness. They operate with a New York license while primarily serving Las Vegas clients. Their pattern of unclear billing practices, not meeting our stated requirements, and terminating our contract when we asked questions was extremely disappointing. Please save yourself the unnecessary emotional and financial stress. AVOID Genesis Rising Surrogacy Center. -- Lilian
Avoid Genesis Rising Surrogacy Center This agency is completely untrustworthy. They take advantage of intended parents with false promises, hidden fees, and poor communication. Once they have your money, transparency disappears — they spend funds without approval and fail to provide clear updates. Be careful before signing anything. Their contract allows them to cancel while still keeping your money. They repeatedly present surrogates who are not medically cleared just to charge a $2,000 “non-medical screening” fee each time. Don’t fall into the same trap — find an agency that values honesty, transparency, and genuine care for intended parents.
⚠️ Update: The person who posted a 5-star review, Rebekah Lindley, is listed on Genesis Rising’s own website as their Surrogate Journey Coordinator. This means she is an employee of the company, not an independent client or surrogate. My Experience: I am an intended parent who worked with Genesis Rising. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The agency used funds from our escrow account for expenses we had not authorized, including travel for a surrogate who was already known to have medical complications and was never medically cleared. I had informed the agency about these issues in writing (emails sent on July 30 and in the following weeks) but received no response. Additionally, Genesis Rising charged us for the surrogate’s medical screening but never paid the IVF clinic for that service — leaving an unpaid balance in our name. Important medical and procedural details were not disclosed to us in a timely manner, and our funds were not handled transparently. In my opinion, the agency’s actions caused unnecessary delays, stress, and financial loss. I hope this review helps future intended parents ask detailed questions and verify payments directly with clinics before proceeding.
🚫 Avoid Genesis Rising Genesis Rising is an unprofessional and misleading company. They misrepresent costs, use confusing terminology, and show little transparency in how they operate. They often push unqualified gestational carriers just to collect fees, while ignoring client concerns. Communication is poor, and contracts are ended abruptly when questions are raised. Their escrow system lacks accountability, and billing practices are unclear. Always communicate in writing and have a lawyer review their contract before signing — they claim you can cancel anytime but still keep your money. This agency should be avoided by anyone seeking an honest, transparent surrogacy experience.
Genesis Rising wasted months of our time, over $6,000 of our money, and provided zero service. They seem to operate with a New York license while conducting most of their business in Nevada - making accountability and oversight difficult. The Screening Deception: Genesis told us to fund escrow for "medical screening." They charged us $2,000 for "screening" (which was just matching, separate from agency fees). Months later, our IVF clinic asked us to pay for the actual medical screening. They deliberately used ambiguous terminology to make us think we'd already paid for medical screening when we hadn't. Matching with Disqualified Candidate: Our only requirement was a Vegas-based carrier. They matched us with someone requiring expensive travel (flights, hotels, dining, Ubers, airport parking). Our clinic informed us this candidate had been previously screened and required serious surgery before she could carry. She was not medically cleared, yet Genesis spent our escrow funds on her premium travel and presented her as "qualified." Budget Bait-and-Switch: Before signing their contract they promised a budget of $110,000-$125,000. After signing they tell us they take no responsibility for staying on budget and won't honor phone or email communications. You Don't Need An Agency: Within three days of Genesis ending our contract, we found two excellent gestational carriers on our own. All you really need is a qualified surrogacy attorney. We've been overwhelmingly happy with Kimberly Surratt, Esq. - she's been professional and incredibly helpful. Bottom Line: Genesis Rising lacks basic professional standards. They prey on first-time parents trying to build families. Skip agencies - find your own carriers and hire a good attorney.
⚠️ Update: The person who posted a 5-star review, Rebekah Lindley, is listed on Genesis Rising’s own website as their Surrogate Journey Coordinator. This means she is an employee of the company, not an independent client or surrogate. Several other positive reviews also appear to come from individuals affiliated with the agency. I have screenshots showing that some of these reviews were later edited, while critical reviews often seem to be removed or hidden. Beware of Genesis Rising Surrogacy Center My experience as an intended parent with Genesis Rising was extremely disappointing. The agency wasted months of our time and thousands of dollars while providing little transparency or accountability. Even our IVF clinic has since stated that they no longer recommend this agency. Licensing and Location Genesis Rising operates primarily in Nevada but holds its business license in New York — something that was not disclosed to us before signing. Unqualified Candidate Our only requirement was for a Las Vegas-based gestational carrier. Instead, we were matched with someone who required extensive travel (flights, hotels, meals, rides, and parking). According to our IVF clinic, this person had already been screened previously and required surgery before being medically cleared. Despite that, Genesis authorized her travel and used our escrow funds for those expenses. Unauthorized Use of Funds Escrow funds were spent without our consent. When we requested clarification and documentation, our contract was abruptly terminated instead of our questions being addressed. Lack of Transparency and Shifting Terms Before signing, Genesis estimated a total cost of $110,000–$125,000. After signing, they refused to acknowledge any verbal or email discussions not written in the contract. This inconsistency, combined with unapproved charges and poor communication, caused significant stress and financial loss. Recommendation Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that anyone considering surrogacy in Nevada consult a local reproductive-law attorney before signing any agency contract. A good starting point is Katherine L. Provost, Esq., a Las Vegas attorney recognized for her work advancing IVF and surrogacy legislation in the state. She offers free consultations and can help you understand your rights under Nevada ART (surrogacy) law. — Lilian (Intended Parent)
Now that my journey is over and my miracle boy is here. I would like to give a sincere thank you to the most caring and amazing people part of this agency. Linzi who was freaking amazing! Every question that I ever had no matter weekend, morning, night was always answered. My coordinator Valerie was awesome. Always a text away! Cat the owner always involved and knows what’s going on. No corner left unturned. I was matched with an amazing surrogate and I am very picky! Everything was smooth from day one. I only had one embryo so I was very nervous and anxious all the time! But now I have my miracle boy and I don’t regret a second when signing on with them! My surrogate who is auntie now was amazing since day one!!! Much love to everyone! Thank you, thank you, thank you for my little man!!
This agency is a shame, avoid it !
Worst agency ever ! Run far from that ! They’re not doing their job, they’re dishonest, and they gave us the worst experience ever when it was supposed to be the best moment of our lives! The surrogate mothers might even be acting illegally — but the director doesn’t care as long as she gets her money! She has zero empathy, and it doesn’t matter if the intended parents are in real distress, as long as she can go on vacation! Even the people working for her were secretly helping us behind her back because they knew it wasn’t right! There are so many other agencies out there — stay away from this one! HORRIBLE!!
