I was referred by my DO after a annual exam to Dr. Pizio for cataracts and if I needed surgery. After and extensive exam and evaluation, Dr. Pizio recommended removal of the cataracts on both eyes. She offered lens options and gave me time to choose what I felt comfortable with. I was very impressed with her office, and support staff as well as her pleasant interaction. She was very professional in all of the contacts and I never felt any pressure to make a quick decision. This might sound strange but a visit to Dr. Pizio's office is not stressful at all and the wait times are minimal. She is very professional and her staff at both her office and Green Valley Surgery Center are great. I appreciated the follow-up after the surgery on both eyes which was a week apart. I would recommend New Eyes and Dr. Pizio for anyone considering Cataract Surgery.

Sometimes professionals forget we patients aren’t ‘up’ to their jargon & may appear unable to ‘get it’. Someone needs to do some grassroots communication teaching.

My appointment was to evaluate my left eye for cataract surgery. Her staff ran me through a number of tests. While there was some clouding in my eye, they recommended holding off on having surgery since it did not bother me yet.

Had Cataract surgery on right eye. It was fast, painless and Dr. Pizio checked on me before surgery to answer any concerns I might have. She is professional, caring and attentive. Highly recommend. Looking forward to left eye surgery.
