So 1st things 1st I wanted to like this office. I live extremely close and saw the black OBGYN and was so excited I booked an appointment online, I came in and my 1st appointment was at 10 am I waited in the office until 11:15 they called me back and I waited for another 30 mins. Dr Irvey saw me and she was super nice and friendly I liked her and decided that even tho I waited I would come back. My 2nd visit I had to give blood and was prescribed medication. When I went to pick it up it wasn’t at the pharmacy. The pharmacy called Innovative and there was no answer. I called same thing, I actually drove up and they said they sent the prescription. When I went back to the pharmacy they didn’t receive anything. I went back up there AGAIN. When I received my prescription the pharmacist told me that he recommend I get a second opinion bc the medication Dr. Irvey prescribed me was not recommended for pregnant women. I let her know and she said it’s fine I actually just asked her to give me something else bc I was uncomfortable. I came in for my 3rd appointment and there were not 1 but 2 separate women in the lobby complaining to the receptionist Miracle about all the issues they have with appointments and staffing issues. Time passes and I’m consistently waiting for my appointments for 30+ mins. I had to give blood on numerous occasions and the phlebotomist stabbed me 3 times and got no blood then she actually blew out my vein so badly I was vomiting and had a huge purple and blue bruise on my arm. There’s been 3 occasions where I had to come back and give blood bc she just couldn’t get it right which is ANNOYING to consistently get pricked and get absolutely no blood. How is that possible? At my 6 month checkup I twisted my ankle and was calling to tell them I couldn’t come in bc I couldn’t walk, No one answered me. I called 4 times left 4 messages and NO ONE called me back. After 2 weeks I decided to walk in and schedule my follow up. I was truly exhausted with them but gave them another try. My very last appointment I checked in 20 mins early. I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes passed my appointment time, the nurse calls me back and has me give a urine sample. I wait in the room an additional 45 mins for Dr Irvey who never comes in. I go to the front desk and there’s was an additional 15 min wait bc they’re moving so slow. The purple haired lady who’s name I can’t remember rn but she was supposed to reschedule me, she never did call or schedule my appointment bc I had to leave to get my kids. While I was in the office my last appointment there were numerous women complaining about the decline in service and just how much they’re upset with the practice. I wish they would adjust their practices and try again bc the concept is great, office is gorgeous, but the experience is TERRIBLE.
Dr. Braithwaite got me in right away for an emergency appointment. Also, her team helped with a quick and friendly check in process. I am happy with the service at this OBGYN.
They're booked a month out & then cancel your appointment with no notice. You find out in the lobby when they are asking if you would like to come back the next month. This is after sending multiple confirmation texts and email all weekend prompting me to fill out paperwork. What a waste of time. No I will not return next month to find out my appointment has been cancelled again.
I absolutely love Dr. Brathwaite! She is the sweetest doctor ever, she’s very thorough with her examinations, and she takes the time to explain everything to you without making you feel like you need a medical degree to understand. The staff at Innovative Women’s Care are also very helpful and very sweet! I just absolutely love this doctor and her office. The office is beautiful inside, which is a plus! I highly recommend going here. Dr. Brathwaite discovered a mass in my lower abdominal region during one of my paps, and she made sure to get me the care I needed and even followed up with me after I had the mass removed. If you want to be seen by an OBGYN that actually cares about her patients, please do not hesitate to book! She also accepts tons of insurance plans. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!
Everyone working was very welcoming and the office is clean and modern, not like your average doctor’s office. Dr. Irvey was nice and informative. I’m excited to continue my pregnancy with Dr. Irvey and Innovative Women’s Care
Dr. Irvey was great. Glad I gave their office another try! Super great bedside manners and took time to discuss my concerns.
went here in january for the first time after having an unpleasant experience with my previous gynecologist. i thought maybe it was time for me to seek an African American doctor. i told the medical assistant about an infection i had & when she stepped out of the room, i could hear her asking her co workers what the infection was because apparently she never heard of it. i thought being a medical assistant meant you had to have knowledge of the industry you’re working in? i guess not. Dr. Brathwaite was very dry compared to my previous Dr. I probably won’t be back.
I was so eager to have a female African American OB for the first time, especially after reading Dr Brathwaite’s high level of achievement and many great reviews but sadly I received some of the worst care I’ve ever received with any OB. I saw Dr Brathwaite for my first prenatal care appt and the appt was vague and to the point. Dr Brathwaite didn’t ask me many questions about myself or my birthing experiences nor did she tell me much about herself or the clinic. I’m assuming she figured I know the ropes since this is my third pregnancy and I could see that the staff seemed to be preparing for break so I decided to overlook it with hopes she might be more attentive in the future. I returned for my first ultrasound and the technician was friendly and the appt went well but I didn’t speak to Dr Brathwaite after the appt. I was scheduled for a follow up in the next couple of weeks and I was told by the ultrasound tech the Dr would discuss the ultrasound with me then. I got a call a few days later and the front office staff left me a voicemail saying that my appt would have to be rescheduled because Dr Brathwaite would be out of the office on the day my appt was scheduled. I tried to call back and reschedule the appt but I could not get ahold of anyone. I left three voicemails and called several times and I still haven’t heard back from them and it has been 3 weeks now. Now I’m basically just hoping everything looked good on my ultrasound but I’m convinced Dr Brathwaite hasn’t reviewed my images. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and have yet to have my baby looked at by a Dr and I also haven’t spoken with a Dr to ensure my blood work is normal and the soonest I’ve been able to book an appt with a new OB is 2 weeks from now so I’m basically just hoping everything is alright with my little one and trusting my body to do it’s job. Dr Brathwaite’s front office staff is obviously negligent and unorganized and Dr Brathwaite is careless and inattentive and I did read other reviews reviews that warned me of this, now I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my time and money.
Getting an appointment was a struggle in itself. It took three times of attempting to schedule for them to get it right. The first two times, they confirmed the appointment time and date only to find out they put it on their schedule incorrectly. I don't know how this could happen twice in a row with two different girls but I still gave them a chance. I should have taken this as a sign to go somewhere else. Then upon walking in, they gave me the wrong consent forms. I asked why I needed to sign for a procedure I wasn't scheduled. I told her multiple times it wasn't what I was coming in for and the other receptionist also had to tell her what my appointment was for before she realized she gave me another patients forms. And the worst part yet, they gave me inaccurate test results. I told them it was not possible for me to have an STI. Naturally I was shocked with the initial call and this caused unnecessary strain in my relationship. My partner and I went to get tested again to be sure before we took antibiotics for no reason and of course both tests came back negative... The staff and doctor are nice but seems like no one knows what they are doing here. Complete waste of money and time.
Beautiful office but even more beautiful experience with keeping to the appt time, girl power office, kind staff and Dr Braithwaite 🙌🏻🙌🏻 is fabulous. Kind bedside manner, listened to me, asked questions to indicate she read the PW I filled out, all around totally recommend for women’s care!!!
My visit was completed in a most professional manner. The timing was acceptable, and I was able to speak with the doctor. I look forward to any future visits. Thank you Dr. Brathwaithe for your professionalism. In addition, the entire staff was professional from the receptionist to the nurse. Thank all of you.Dr. Braithwaite has been great.
This office is amazing! It's the nicest Dr. Office I have ever been to. The Office was packed when I arrived for my 930am appointment, from experience with previous offices I assumed this was going to be a very long wait. To my surprise, I was called in under 10 minutes. This Office is a well oiled machine. They room patients quickly and get you in and out while providing exceptional customer service and care. In Vegas you expect less in doctor care because that is the narrative and experience, but Innovative Women's Care is the exception. I seen Dr.Irvey so is slightly easier to book then the other dr., she made me feel so comfortable and listened to my needs. Also, I am biracial and having a black woman as my gynecologist is important to me. They are far and few between, It's actually been since the birth of my son 20 years ago when I had the option of choosing a black gynecologist. It is so important and special that this office exists in our community. In case you were wondering, like my cousin, all races were present in the office: white, asian, hispanic, and black. All are welcome here and you felt it walking in. Also, the office is beautiful!!! Picture of art work is from inside the room. THANK YOU!!!
Great staff, pleasant atmosphere, doctor is knowledgeable
Doctors and staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and informative.
Absolutely beautiful office and staff and doctor were amazing!
Wonderful place. Quick, caring and clean.
Nice office and good customer service. And the Dr was very informative and made the exam very comfortable. Happy I choose here.
Dr. Marguerite was great! I immediately felt comfortable. Her bedside manner was 10!
Always positive energy at Innovative Women's Care! You can definitely tell they're genuine and truly take part in their patients. Dr. Irvey is always a bright spirit and everyone who employs here is very welcoming and hard at work. I'd definitely recommend to any woman in need of an OBGYN doctor.
Dr. Irvey is a God send. Her level of professionalism, relatability and bedside manner is unmatched. I’m fortunate to have been able to book as she is extremely busy and sought after. She listened patiently to my needs and was very gentle. I would absolutely recommend!!!!!!
