Office staff is completely inept. Nobody answers phone during operating hours and overcharged for a co-pay they allege was never paid yet I have the bank statements to prove it was

He’s awful. His staff is worse. Seeing this doctor is a complete waste of time. His staff will intentionally make you overpay or they won’t let you see him and it will take months to get back the money you knew you didn’t have to pay. He is not a good practitioner and it’s scary to think he even has a license.

Unfortunately I was 2 minutes late for the allergy shot time. And I was denied the ability to get the shot. I understand that they stop at a specific time but I have been going here for multiple years, have spent plenty of money here, and was literally (not exaggerating) 2 minutes late. Unfortunate. I am going to see what other allergy centers are available.

Dr. Katz and staff are amazing. I retired from the Clark County School District in 2017. In the early part of 2017 I was started on Xloair, due to chronic hives. Xolair was a life saver for me. Have you ever experienced your throat closing due to an allergic reaction, I have. Xolair gave me my life back. In July 2017, when I retired, a problem occurred with my insurance and Dr. Katz worked with my insurance and after 4 months got me back on Xolair. Yes, during the time I was not able to get the Xolair shots, I had serious problems and Dr. Katz took awesome of me. Very few medical doctors talk to you personally on the phone.AWESOME and thank you again Dr. Katz and your amazing staff..

I was having trouble smelling food, and breathing until I went to see Dr.Katz I was able to smell and breath immediately. You saved me.

I wanted to say something great for a Doctor who has taken the time to help me get past many allergies!!!A couple of weeks ago I went back to my home town in Kansas. Wheat was being harvested all around us and many of my family members and friends were having allergy problems. Asthma, watering eyes and blocked noses. I did not have a single allergy issue. Many who knew me growing up were shocked at the difference they saw. I explained to them the reason I was in such great shape was because of the allergist I was seeing in Las Vegas.Dr. Katz is excellent and I recommend him highly.Later,Vincent Ossana

I just wanted to say Dr. Katz is awesome! I went home to Kansas, two weeks ago, I grew up there. When I was home everybody around me was having issues with allergies but I was not, I felt fine. I felt great because of the shots Dr. Katz has me on and the excellent care I have received from him! My husband have been treating asthma for a long time.We moved to Vegas From Austin, and his doctor there was absolutely awesome and humane.He took his time to understand his condition and listening to all of our concerns regarding his health.When we moved to Vegas I searched online for the best respiratory doctors in the area and Joel’s name came up. Even though his stuff treated us well, Joel is an awful doctor. He does not listen to the patient, he does not care or make eye contact when you are speaking to him. He does not care about your medical history, he basically asked what medication my husband wanted. That’s all. He is VERY rude.Save time and money and go to another professional. Joel’s behavior is unacceptable.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. As a brown person (minority). I went in for my first visit needing urgent help due to suffering severely of allergic reactions to foods and beverages that I had eaten daily before I was diagnosed with COVID. Since that time, when I eat a multiple of things, I have sever itching from my inside to severe itching red patches and my hands and feet.So badly that no over the counter antihistamine will resolve or allow me to sleep.I went to him this morning BEGGING for help.The experience he gave me was very rushed. He talked down to me telling me "There was no way that he could help me." I don't have any allergy." etc. He brought me to tears because I found myself actually feeling like I had to demand my pain and misery. I walked out crying. A doctor should never make me or anyone feel like this.NO MINORITY should go there. NO PERSON SHOULD

Dr. Katz has truly changed my son’s life. We have been in and out of the hospital and seen specialist on the East and west coast. It wasn’t until finding Dr Katz that my so. Got his life back. For the first time in 14 years, my son’s asthma is under control. We highly recommend Dr. Katz and all his staff.
