List of Ovation Fertility Las Vegas's Reviews
Hello, just wanted to review because before my journey all i was doing was spiraling and reading reviews. I have been coming to this center now for a while. i am 23 and my husband is 25 was scary at first thinking a doctor wouldn't listen to concerns and just say "oh you guys are young everything is fine". Our insurance covered all testing thankfully and we are with dr.kaye. She is amazing and so is the entire staff. Listened to all concerns we had and helped rule out all possibilities. We ended up have to do IVF currently on STIMS and egg revival next week. from starting this journey to going through IVF in my case. Every receptionist, ma, ultrasound tech, and phlebotomist have been amazing and so sweet. Everyone is amazing at keeping a safe and calm environment which is huge to me especially because I have very bad anxiety. There are also 45-1hr away and anyone who knows IVF I'm at the clinic at least every other day. To me totally worth the drive for an amazing staff from the moment you walk in to getting blood drawn then over to ultrasound. Dr.Kaye is also very sweet in knowing we are far and letting us in zoom appointments for consults / going over results or treatment...ect. Anyways I'm just yapping away lol 10/10 would recommend anyone to come to this clinic.
This review is a long time coming but I wanted to wait until my baby was earth side. If you are like me, you are scouring the internet for positive stories if you're at the beginning of your infertility journey. I went to three different RE clinics in Vegas on my infertility journey. This was by far the ONLY one I would ever recommend. And the only one who ever gave me an answer for my infertility. I had many large fibroids and found out through the course of treatment I had silent endometriosis. This clinic is leaps and bounds above the rest. Dr. Bediant is truly the best there is in the valley. She listens to you. She is willing to pivot and try different things. She will do what you want (as long as it's medically appropriate) and makes you feel like you are in control of this journey that at times is harrowing, difficult, and very much out of your control. No matter who you go to, this journey will be difficult. But Dr. Bediant is compassionate and also extremely knowledgable and well versed on the latest research. (Check out her fertility podcast!) This was a long, expensive road and the most difficult thing I ever did in my life, but on 10/2 I welcomed my miracle baby into the world, and I would do it all again for him! I owe everything to Dr. Bediant and this clinic for giving me everything I ever wanted. I will be back to transfer my last two embryos in the future even though I've moved out of state. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
There isn't a better place I could recommend in Vegas than here, and this is coming from someone who lives 45 minutes from the office. Beyond worth it. The staff is top notch, we worked with Dr. Bedient who is pure light and love and a complete wealth of knowledge. Any concern I ever found myself having, or any doubts that were plaguing my mind, I always found peace and comfort in FCLV. We graduated today with a beautiful healthy baby in my belly and it's all thanks to everything that FCLV did for me.
Leah Kaye has bad attitude, does not care nor want to hear what your needs are, all she cares about is to schedule you for initial consultation and start putting you through unnecessary treatment so they can make money, she does not even answer any questions, she just wants you to come in so they can make money. I have insurance and according to my insurance they're with in network, but they said they do not accept it and want cash up front, they do not even want to deal with insurance. she even transferred me to a voice mail after I started asking questions. Defiantly not recommended, this is important part of your life, you need to find the right person who cares on this emotional journey, so make the right decision.
Dr Kaye is amazing!! We used dr Shapiro first and had a bad experience. He may be good for others who like cut and dry with little to zero bedside manners but Dr Kaye is more of a compassionate hand held experience. Shapiro was cold after our first egg retrieval was unsuccessful and the way he explained it felt so cut and dry. He was late to our meeting regarding results and just overall a terrible experience with him but Dr Kaye saved the day and we have had 2 successful pregnancies with her and nothing but support, compassion and above all an understanding of what my wife was feeling and going through emotionally at all times. The Dr you choose is the most important thing and I suggest if you haven't seen or met Dr Kaye, do it. Also Dr bedient is wonderful she's actually did our first transfer while Dr Kaye was on mat leave and I would highly recommend her too. Shoutout to all other staff at the fertility center, they were all so pleasant and wonderful to interact with always smiling and became like family. Thank you ladies so much.
I am so grateful for the Fertility Center of LV. Every member of the team made me feel cared for throughout one of the most vulnerable & emotional journeys of my life. Dr. Bedient was not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable but also refreshingly honest and compassionate. She had a way of keeping it real while still offering hope by trying new methods each step of the way. Thanks to her, I was given the most incredible gift in my life; my baby. From Corinne at the front desk, who always made me feel welcomed & special, Christie who went out of her way after hours, Emily, my coordinator, who was organized, & there for all my questions, Melissa, Ryanne, Elizabeth, and also the entire blood draw team (too many to name), every person I encountered was a source of comfort, support & positivity. With my perfect embryo looking back at me in my arms, it brings tears to my eyes & was worth it all. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Stored embryos here. After a lot of thought and years paying storage fees and counseling I decided discarding my embryos was the best move. It was a very painful decision to make. I emailed and called them in early Feb and it took 2 months for them to simply send me the discard form. I emailed them at least 25 times and called at least 15 times, sometimes waiting upwards of 2 hours on hold. It took me getting a lawyer to get the discard form. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
If you're looking for wonderful fertility care in the Las Vegas valley, this is it. Stop your search now, and just trust me, come here. I never once had a hard time with communication with this clinic. In fact, it was excellent. The nurses are amazing, as is Dr. Shapiro! I have been to three different fertility centers in my fertility journey, and this one was by far the best. Once I became pregnant, they monitored me and took such great care of my hormone levels, always making sure that I was in the right limits to maintain a healthy pregnancy. I am beyond grateful for the care I received here. Dr. Shapiro is very knowledgeable and kind. I was grateful for his expertise and professionalism. If you're looking for a good fertility clinic or doctor, I'm telling you this is it. He is very in with all of the research and is not outdated whatsoever. The staff never made my husband feel uncomfortable when he came to appointments with me, and let him ask as many questions as he wanted. This was a big deal for us, because some clinics can make your spouse feel unwelcome. They treated him kindly which made our experience more special. The phlebotomists are highly skilled. At another clinic, they could never find my veins and I would leave frustrated after waiting for so long to get my blood drawn. They never once had an issue at this clinic. Overall, the entire staff is incredible. They are well organized and well-run. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks for taking such great care of me.
My recommendation is get an opinion somewhere else first. The doctor recommended IVF right away even though I had a prior healthy full term pregnancy. Cost me a lot of money and stress. I did end up getting pregnant after the transfer but miscarried. Some of the staff was not empathetic (I had asked for a work excuse during the miscarriage and was denied it. Very unprofessional on the nurse's end in my opinion). I actually ended up conceiving naturally later that year, so in reality I wasted my time, money and emotional well being at this clinic. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion always before you decide to go to this clinic. The one person that was always very kind to me was the phlebotomist. She always talked to me and helped calm my anxiety and nerves. Just thinking about what I went through gives me anxiety. IVF is a stressful process and they should have been more transparent about that and also should have talked to me about the literal 50/50 chance that I would have a successful pregnancy. Doctor made it seem like it would be a walk in the park and that it would be successful, pregnancy included.
Almost Everything is horrible here. Phlebotomist misses my veins almost every time then fishes only to have to switch arms. They charged me thousands for two in office procedures they weren't able to perform then I went to a lab and the dr got it done and showed me the pics at end of procedure!! The lab dr was great. They have covid protocols still in place just because. No husbands can join. Only thing I can say is new facility is nice and maybe 3 employees are good.
