Sunrise Hospital And Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

I don't write many reviews but I definitely do when my experience has been really bad or really great. I was so impressed with how sweet everyone was from the security at the front door, to the gentleman who checked me in for my covid test and pre op, to the ladies checking me in for surgery, to the nurses, and everyone else I encountered at Sunrise hospital. Sandi the head nurse was so comforting and communicative. Thank you so much for giving me your number and allowing me to call and text when I needed your help. Veronica who was helping me before surgery was very helpful and sweet. My anesthesiologists were super warm and informative. The nurses that helped me in recovery were so great as well. Thank you Sunrise hospital you did a great job :)

A big shout out to staff in ICU!!! My 90 year old mom is here due to COPD exacerbation. Attention to detail/care has been exceptional. My mom is not out of the woods yet but I am confident and satisfied with the care being provided.

I sympathize with all the negative reviews here but honestly this has been the best hospital experience I've ever had. If they suspect that you have a serious condition, they WILL take great care of you. The care and kindness of the staff was fantastic and I only wish that this hospital would be in my own home town.I arrived at ER with my family around 5 am because of suspected food poisoning. After a short 10 minute wait, I was able to see the triage nurse and after telling her my symptoms and some of my past health problems I've been facing the past year. She immediately ordered a blood test and an abdominal scan. I was also given an IV drip and medication to help with the nausea and pain while waiting for the results. After an hour and half to wait for the blood test and scan results, I was diagnosed with a serious condition that would require surgery. The nurses and doctors were very patient and professional with both mine and my family concerns. We were considering driving home to our city to have the surgery done because we were planning to return home that day if not for me getting sick and the staff were really accommodating in trying to help us prepare myself to get home with medication/paperwork if that was our choice. In the end, due to the seriousness/pain of my condition, we had the surgery done here and we were able to be booked into surgery by that afternoon!Each member of the surgery staff introduced themselves and answered every question about my procedure. The nurses even brought multiple warmed up blankets when I mentioned I was a bit chilly! The rooms in pre-op and recovery were comfortable and generally pretty private, though we were separated by a curtain. The procedure went without issues and for my overnight stay, I was well looked after and monitored. If I had any issues, the nurses came within moments after hitting the call button. I feel so much better now and I can't thank the staff at Sunrise enough for their care.

One of the best & easiest visits I've had in a very long time! All the doctors and nurses were so patient and very sweet. The service was second to none! I'd recommend sunrise hospital to everyone

I adore this place! I had to stay here in ICU for 12 days after complications due to a surgery I had there with a surgeon . The nurses were the most professional & loving I have ever had before. They made sure I was taken care of always. Now some of the doctors though that came to check on me weren't the best & even one tried to make a nurse give me a med I was highly allergic to & then charge my insurance 3500 for his bill which he only saw me for 3 minutes at a time for 4 visits total while I was there. Besides that issue my all around stay & care was the best I have ever had. Clean & very professional staff. The nurses & Surgeon are what kept this review a 5 star along with how well kept & professional the hospital is despite that one doctor.

Best Hospital ever, I had triple bypass and joined the few to make it, I give them and the Lord above for making it through my ordeal. Great surgeons doctors and nurses great rehab. I was flown in, and in desperate need of help. I believe I'm alive today with the Lord above guiding the hands of Dr.Zafar Dr.Chowdhry, Dr.Lee and their team including Dr.Chock.

Dr. Patel (anesthesiologist) and Dr. Kartzinel (OBYN) are fabulous. Not to mention the nursing staff (Yvonne) and check in at the surgical center. Both times I have visited this center I have been greeted by Joyce and she welcomes the all little people with Pom poms and a song. This immediately makes all involved smile and takes some of the anxiety away. The entire team works to make sure the patient and family are well informed and know the steps that will be happening. The facility is clean and waiting room is comfortable. If you are looking for a caring,quality experience for your surgical procedure for a child or adult. I highly recommend Sunrise.

This was absolutely one of the best hospitals I have visited. The staff were all very friendly, the facilities were very clean, it was easy to navigate through the entire hospital, the food was actually tasty, and overall it was a very pleasant experience!

This is hands down one of the greatest hospitals I've ever attended. I'm from out of town, California to be exact. I'm in Vegas for a vacation and I had extremely bad ear pain one night. Now being from California I dreaded thinking of going to the ER and having to wait hours to be seen. Being a nurse myself, I was expecting the worst, this is Vegas after all come on? So I go drive a quick 6 minutes, park and enter. So my surprise the ER was busy but they're all so organized, and I mean completely organized and technologically advanced. Check in literally took seconds on the kiosk, my vitals were taken in minutes by the nurse! He was in rush to get me in obviously but he was extremely respectful and careful. He signed me in and led me to the window where another admin put a bracket on me and took some info. He led me to another room to be seen. No sitting in the waiting room full of people?! So we go back there are a few people sitting in a smaller waiting room. There I'm greeted by a nurse minutes later to take basic information, they were so calm and kind too. I was seen by a nurse/ doctor within ten minutes of being there. I kid you not, I was admitted, examined, diagnosed, treated and discharged with treatment and medication in less than 1 hour and that's probably because the nurse and I began talking! Literally it went by so fast and so smoothly! This place is super high tech, extremely professional and prepared for it all. The nurses and employees here are so kind and helpful. I would've never expected. Despite being in serious pain, It was one of the most pleasant Emergency room experiences I've ever had. I left treated and comfortable. Great hospitality and great people. Thank you to the ladies who helped me out tonight! You guys are amazing!
