List of Svetlana Barbarash's Reviews
This provider heads a practice where it is completely acceptable to shame patients for their insurance and disabilities. After a terrible experience with one of her underlings I contacted her to let her know what her staff were doing and how unprofessional one NP named Jerifaye Flores treated me. Her answer was to not answer me for days and then instead of addressing it she tried to milk my insurance for 1 more visit. How is it appropriate to suggest a billable follow up visit when my complaint is about disrespectful, judgemental, and prejudiced staff? That should be a phone call not a billable visit. This cardiology practice and these 2 providers are disgusting and Im shocked Southwest Medical allows this to continue.
I had a 1030 appointment and an hour and 40 minutes later she finally came in to talk to me The long wait period is unacceptable. Poor service
Dr. Barbarash is my savior. She sees you as an individual with unique needs. Her “second” opinion saved me from open heart surgery that I was scheduled for. I have had an uncomplicated, healthy life for years thanks to her “seeing” me.
She may be a good doctor when you can actually get in. Try making follow up appointments 6 months out and then she cancels it, so you reschedule and hummm cancels AGAIN. Now imagine you are 87 years old with prior open heart surgery, you kind of need to see a cardiologist (damn HMO's) so you try AGAIN to reschedule after being on hold for 37 minutes you find out that her next appointment is in June 2021 and it's only Oct WTH. Hopefully she can pay a visit to my funeral
Dr Barbararash is the best. very, very professional .
Excellent doctor. Blunt but caring.
She is caring, thorough and listens to your concerns. She professionally outlines her recommendations based on all the information you presented and your diagnostic examination results and helps you choose what is best for your condition. I trust her medical opinions and recommendations.
When I see Dr Barbarash, she listens to me. We mutuallyagree on treatment. I feel a part of my treatment. Her staff , Anna, Kerry and Joy are wonderful The daily telemonitoring is a great tool. I am alive today because of her dedication to my health. As a congestive heart patient, that is critical.
Seems to be more interested in the money than in helping you. I spent over $1,000 out of pocket for useless tests. The only thing the tests really showed is that I have occasional arrhythmia, which I already knew. She seems to have a problem believing her patients. When I called asking her to write a note to excuse me from jury service, her staff refused. When I get arrhythmia, I usually have to lie down. But, I guess this is not good enough for her or her staff to write me a note.
Dr Mathis was awesome, a bit of a wait but he apologized for that. I don't always love clinics but I brought my nine-year-old once before and had a good experience. And my experience of a was good.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
