List of Whasn City Center's Reviews
I have been going to WHASN for a couple years now. I mostly visit the Aliante office, but have been to City Center a few times as well. All of the clinical staff at both locations have been excellent. However, the billing department has not been as easy to work with. They are difficult to get on the phone, and when a claim is not billed correctly, they make it the patient's responsibility to call the insurance and get it resolved. Because I work in the medical billing industry, I know how to get my claims processed correctly, but I know this isn't the case for all patients. Be sure you are checking your EOBs from your insurance before blindly paying them.
I cannot believe how a place can still be in business the way they treat patients. With only 5 people in the waiting room i have been here for almost 3 hours in pain! Waiting 45 minutes to see a nurse and then another 40 minutes to get my blood drawn and another hour just to get an ultrasound. They were refusing an ultrasound for me even though i told them i was in pain... come to find out i was rupturing an ectopic pregnancy!!
Called to schedule an appointment at this office, the last time I was there was 6 years ago. I started going to the WHASN East location only because I moved and it was closer to me. I unfortunately had a horrible experience at the East location so I decided to give City Center another try. When I called, I was just informed that I cannot schedule an appointment because I transferred to a different location which means I cannot come back to WHASN City Center. What an absurd rule that I was NEVER informed of at either location. On top of that, the Sunrise location dismissed me from scheduling because of having to cancel/reschedule a few appointments last year due to starting a new job and having a constantly changing schedule. Now I finally have a set schedule and I’m being told I cannot schedule an appointment with Sunrise. They told me that the dismissal would only affect the Sunrise location, but now I can’t schedule with the Henderson location either for the same reason. All of these absurd rules and policies are making scheduling a nightmare for me and I’m thoroughly disgusted with WHASN as a whole. To make matters worse, when I ask to speak to management I get the runaround. I keep being told someone will call me back but they never do. For women’s healthcare to have such abhorrent service is scary to think about. I don’t feel like I’m being treated fairly by WHASN.
Holly Howell put my baby and me in such a danger. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was told I had to be put on insulin, I also had problems with my placenta so I was considered a high risk patient. I had no insurance and no family or friends to help me and I told her this, even cried. So I couldn’t afford to pay $200 a week to see Holly and $1000 to high risk. So she chose to drop be as a patient at week 34, knowing that no doctor would take me in since I’m so far along. She didn’t even come out to tell me herself, she had the receptionist tell me. The same day she discharged me as a patient I got to scrape enough money to get a medical insurance, but I was still told that she still wouldn’t help me. I can’t understand how a doctor can put a mom and baby in this dangerous situation, it’s very heartless. I had to other choice but to go to the ER at 37 weeks and they send me right away to do an emergency c-section. They were in shock that a doctor could have done this to my baby and I.
This place sucks. I came in for heavy bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy and the ultrasound technician couldn't even tell that I had placenta previa, I had to go somewhere else. Not good health care at all.
I absolutely love this place. I can't get into my regular dr office without a 3 month appointment so I took it upon myself to keep coming back. The service is awesome and they treat me well for my chronic condition. Keep up the good work ladies.
So it says they close at 8:30 so I show up at 6:25 and did not wanna take me as a walk-in I was very upset I had to drive 25 mts for nothing so never come to this clinic not professional at all.
I really am not one to like to leave negative reviews but after having been there with my girlfriend Saturday night I left there feeling simply down and certainly not joyous and comforted like a 47 year old man having his first child should. I already am nervous about being a father at my age and I am very concerned for my lady that everything was certainly ok for her as well . This will be HER FIRST CHILD TOO. That being said, we both are unfamiliar with everything and would like this to be a joyous time of our lives. We were excited to possibly learn what our baby may be as far as a boy or girl and thought perhaps we would of learned that Saturday night at our appointment but to my surprise it was the absolute worst case of customer service I have ever encountered in my life. I expected and thought they would encourage and respect a man that is there with his lady to comfort her and hold her hand in this sometimes terrifying change we are about to experience but was shocked when she was called in from the waiting room and I was immediately stopped and absolutely RUDELY told PATIENT ONLY SIR! All I can say is WOW and it certainly is sad to see that compassion and smiles are a thing of the past. (almost a pre requisite for a nurse in the medical field one would think) I was embarrassed and angry that I couldn't of been there for the love of my life, by her side so she didn't experience the loneliness my mom went through because of my pre occupied father ....alone x 4... Anyhow , I am aware of patient privacy and so forth however parenting, especially new parents, should be kept together and explained of her and our babies health and progress as a unit , a family, not treated so coldly. I literally have no other reason to see this facility and organization as a business that has no desire other than getting the woman in and out quickly and as unpersonable as possibly to keep the checks forwarded to the state .
Dr Holly Howell has forgotten to call my prescriptions in for me several times and it takes forever to actually get ahold of her. Also, this last time she really tried to pressure me into getting an IUD I did not want! I was there to change birth control pills because I stopped breastfeeding. After trying to pressure me into getting the IUD, then never calling in my prescription for the birth control pill I was asking for I won’t be seeing her again.
Went in to check on my baby after getting hit in the stomach and I could hear them openly talking bad about me with each other. They also wouldn't listen to what I was saying and kept interrupting me. Asked me a question and I would answer but just kept repeating their question and my answer back to me. The person who saw me was extremely condescending as well when speaking to me. I could hear her getting upset about me being there and huffing before she came in. They mixed up the number of weeks I was and kept bringing it up and telling me it's my fault over and over. Disrespectful and rude. Would never go back there again. If you hate your job that much you shouldn’t be in any customer service position.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
