Whasn Essential Las Vegas's Online Review Report Card

My pregnancy journey went smooth with no issues until the 3rd trimester when my blood pressure became elevated. I purchased my own BP machine to monitor at home which read a slight elevation. However every time I went to the doctors office my BP read higher. Long story short, Dr. Shiode sent me to the hospital at 36 weeks for monitoring. I was released, only to have Dr. Pack do the same thing 2 weeks later. I didn't agree with it, thinking it was just "white coat" and I didn't want to be induced early. My organs, baby, protein levels and blood work were all normal. I wanted my baby to come on his own. However, after a much needed heart to heart with Dr. Pack, who is a trained professional and has the training and experience to support his recommendation, I agreed to being induced. I've read some reviews that state he is unprofessional etc. Dr. Pack was never "unprofessional" with me. Dr. Pack IS very matter of fact, which I appreciate. I don't want someone to sugar coat anything especially pertaining to mine or my babies health and we'll being. We're not here to make friends. These doctors sometimes get a hard time but they have a liability to keep us safe, not only us the patients but also our unborn child. Pregnancies may not go as expected or planned but my baby boy was only born 2 weeks early and is happy and healthy. Thank you Dr. Pack for having mine and my babies safety as priority.

First off, the front desk looks like they just woke up and came straight to work wearing sweats and untamed looking bed head hair. Very unprofessional. I was here a couple weeks ago and when I was in the waiting room, a girl from another office came in with urgency about a patient who had just left from this office and how she left her little kids in the car by themselves during the duration of her appointment. Apparently there were cops from what I could hear. Instead of the office trying to help her, they brushed her off. The manager, Jazmine (light skin lady with like the Karen haircut), was so rude to her. I understood why she couldnt tell the girl the information she needed but the girl did offer to put the officer on the phone or have the officer come up to the office to talk to her. Jazmine simply went 'I dont want cops up here. Sorry' then like shoo'd her away and went into the back. The girl called someone and gave it to Jazmine (I'm assuming it was the officer in the lot) and then when Jazmine came back she threw the phone back at that sweet girl. If the office didn't care about one of their patients leaving her small children in the car and then BRUSHING THE SITUATION OFF, I wouldn't want them to take care of me. Sucks because the doctors are sweet, but the staff they hire needs to be replaced.

I started going to WHASN at 9 weeks pregnant. I was seeing them regularly. Recently, I called to make an appointment at 23 weeks. I let them know I was moving before the birth and they refused me service. I was shocked to say the least. They only care about the $$$$$. They only want to see you if they can get that birth fee out of you. Wow. Only positive about this location to be mentioned is the ultrasound technician. She is super sweet. I would find somewhere else. The appointments last 3-5 min. They shuttle in and shuttle out- very impersonal. Feels like they’re on a clock to try and see as many patients as possible- $$$$$$

I've had one appointment there talked to the doctor who was going to be giving me my papsmere and everything went fine until she told me I had to come back to get my blood drawn because the laboratory was closed for blood drawing so I said ok went along with it then when I checked out the girl in the front scheduled my appointment for checkup well they give no reminders , of when your appointment is they don't call to remind you in case you do forget their rude and they cut you off for their faults !! I still have yet to get a call from my doctor this is why it took me so long to get checked because the process is so backwards they have no common courtesy !!

the service and everything was great went for Paps Smear was fast, easy, and simple. Dr. Tiffany Hendrix and the front desk were nice and efficient. Thank you.

Had no problem making appointments for this location. After intense searching for a new gynecologist I researched this location and all doctors Located here. I first wanted dr ivie which she was closed for new patients and second I selected dr herpolsheimer due to his experience and years of service in this field.Will be having major surgery soon and that's the only problem I had was the scheduler scheduling it for a hospital 18 miles away from home.

AWFUL! I had went to my 37 week check up before hand I had told them for my vaginal swab I wanted a female Doctor to assist me with that so when I went in they had told me that I have to see doctor H Which is a male doctor let me tell you how insensitive he is and literally treated me like trash I always had a great experience with all of the doctors there but when I seen him i don't know if you was in a rush or just didn't care it's like they do this so much there getting to the point where they don't care for there patients so when I told him I wanted to get induced he said I'll have to wait to see a female doctor which I had already ask them to see last week it's like they don't communicate with each other at all after the whole argument they ended up telling me they won't be seeing me no more I was very upset and the manager wasn't great help either it's like she just wanted to throw me somewhere else but not there office it's just frustrating when you tell them what you want for YOUR BABY and they act as if you don't have a choice it's there way and you have to deal with it I want to have a beautiful delivery this is my first child.

What is the point of answering the phone to the office..Then telling me to call back in 10 minutes because you’re not open yet…lol anywho. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Should’ve just let me stay on the line on hold until the time being if that was the case. But other than that you guys do a pretty snazzy job keeping us all up and running. Thank you!

I switched from WHASN Meadows and that location was horrible. I'm so glad I made the switch. I absolutely love this location!! Everyone was absolutely amazing I can't say enough good things. The front desk made everything so easy. The ultrasound tech made me so comfortable. I met with Dr.Shiode and she was incredible! She answered all my questions and I left feeling great. I'm excited to continue coming here for my future appointments.
