Had a surgery with dr. luh and I went four months after the surgery becuse im felling bad and they told me i had a uti that i needed antibiotics and i got them then two weeks later call me and told me i had another infection and prescribed another medicine so i went get it and they where the same medicine! Now i been calling since march 31 ( cuz i still get bad and worst) to talk to them and havent heard back from them and now its april 6 9:40pm so if i get lucky i will get a call tomorrow april 7 from belindaaa! (I call everyday and front desk just tells me she is with a pacient that she will call me back!) I think dr luh is a good dr its just his assistant that mess up hes job! Also had trouble with payments that they do not refund since surgery and now they dont even wanna use the credit for new appts! Like wth!Ohh i also after the told me i had uti i went a week later for a ultrasound and that day i asked if i could get a pee test to see if i stil had the infection and they refused, wanted me to make another appt for another day.
Don't bother coming here this place is run by literal children, went to front desk where they had 3 receptions 2 who were busy on the phone and 1 who was dancing while she had an AirPod in asked her where the bathroom was as she cut me off mid sentence pointed at the girl on the phone and said "SHELL HELP YOU" while telling the other girl on the phone "I think I'll have pizza for lunch today" the phlebotomist (another child) also had her AirPod in talking to who I assume boyfriend talking about "would you still like me if we didn't go? Would you still like me if I stay in?" But I think the cherry on top was the ultra sound tech when I asked her about the test she was going to do she sighed and said "we'll wether you do the test or not I don't really care" didn't even bother making a next appointment I couldn't get out of there faster I don't feel comfortable with CHILDREN helping me out with my own child do yourself a favor and go to ANY other obgyn
Christina Christina Christina!! She is amazing!! I first met Christina a little over a year ago at my previous providers office. Within two visits provided me with so much knowledge and tips on how to manage diabetes and have a healthy baby!It felt so good to have my health care provider take the time out and make me feel special most times I feel like I'm just a patient and I'm being rushed out so the dr could see the next patient and in just two visits I never felt like that because she is so compassionate she took her time and made sure you understood and she actually listened. I was so heartbroken when she left. Fast forward 10 months later I am looking for a new ob so I search the providers on WHASN and who do I see CHRISTINA CISNEROS, APRN herself it felt like a dream! I immediately stopped what I was doing and booked me an appointment.I give this place a 10 out of 10.Not only did they have immediate availability! The front office staff was extremely polite. The medical assistant was friendly. And I received excellent care from Christina. She told me what to expect every step of the way. I am so glad to be under her care again.Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate person that you are! You always go above and beyond and work tirelessly towards a healthy outcome. I feel so blessed to know you and have you as my provider.
I have been severely traumatized in past years by doctors and their lack of care! It had been 25 years since I had been to any OBGYN because of it. Christina jokingly refers to me as her PTSD patient. She immediately puts you at ease! Christina is kind, understanding, gentle, and tells you how it is! Every time I have to see another doctor for something else, I always end up going back to her. Now I will see NO ONE but her!
I had prenatal care visits + ultrasounds at WHASN Northwest. I was seen by dr. Ballon and then they switched me to dr. Luh. I was pretty happy with both actually and the star I'm giving is only for both doctors. The major problem I had here was the front desk and billing department employees being unprofessional and they did lots of mistakes. I overpaid at least $730 and I've been trying to get my money back for almost a half of year. First: the front desk lady told me that my ultrasounds are not covered by my insurance and made me pay for both ultrasounds I had there (both were regular ultrasounds included in prenatal care, nothing extraordinary). But I have UHC plus insurance and it's supposed to cover all pregnancy and delivery costs besides $500 deductible. So they suggested to pay $84 for each visit to pay them this deductible "in advance " and I thought it would be not a big deal and I won't need to worry about bills after I have a baby, was going to relax and enjoy my time with my newborn and my 2 year old. What happened is the billing department was not able to submit the claim properly (supposedly they didn't include my medical records as I was told by insurance customer support). And they failed to appeal the denied claim also (I don't understand also why they submitted these claim for all prenatal care visits only the day after I had a baby, it doesn't make sense to me) So I paid $500 for prenatal care visits and then I was billed for the same $500 from the hospital where I had my baby cause they never submitted that claim for prenatal care properly and in time. The claim shows that I'm not responsible for any payments for prenatal care visits and insurance customer support told me WHASN had to reimburse me the $500 I paid them cause it never went towards my deductible. Also trying to resolve this problem I figured out that the billing department submitted the claims for both ultrasounds and both were fully covered by my insurance so the payments I paid prior ultrasounds being told that those are not covered were stolen from me as well. I called the billing department multiple times and they just don't want to reimburse me the money I overpaid. Very unprofessional and not helpful . Instead of having a happy time with my newborn I'm being under permanent stress and they are just trying to stress me out as much as possible I guess so I'd tell them: "Whatever , just keep my money, I'm tired of it". But I'm not going to give up, will be trying to get the money stolen from me until I finally get it back
I meant to write this review a few weeks ago when I had my baby but here it is now. I had Dr. Luh deliver my son 13 years ago and moved out of Las Vegas a few years later. I moved back 2 years ago and found out I was pregnant again. I found Dr. Luh again and what a great doctor and experience. I seen him and his Nurse Practitioner both and I can't remember her name but she was really sweet and listened to my concerns every visit like Dr. Luh. They both would explain everything and what to expect during the next visit. If you live in Las Vegas and are looking for the best care go see them best experience ever!
I've been comming to this office the past three years. For my first child (Including my checkups since).... When I came back for my second child... and Michaels left office I have had so many issues and complaints about the front office staff. They have just been extremely rude multiple times even on the phone. I've let it go many times because I'm pregnant and not wanting to start issues or getting myself more upset.. but this last visit I have had enough! These girls at the front desks are just beyond rude. I think I'm only still going here because of provider Christina and office manager Shannon! (Who was the my favorite front desk with my first one) those two are amazing at their jobs and took time to listen to me. 3 out of 4 of the front desk girls need to be replaced! They are enough to make me stop comming here ever again! I honestly don't even know what to rate this place since two are amazing the rest are not what a pregnant woman wants to start their morning of with raising my blood pressure before even sitting down in the waiting room!
I stopped seeing my OBGYN back in January due to my insurance being out of network, and I am STILL being billed for services to this day! I only went a total of (2) visits during my pregnancy, my first 8 week prenatal checkup to verify pregnancy through vaginal ultrasound, and then a second ultrasound at about 13 weeks. I paid for both services already, but I am consistently getting new services billed to my address- I received about maybe 5 medical bills from them since!!! US Healthcare is joke and is especially dehumanizing to pregnant women!
This review is for Dr. Michaels. She is an amazing doctor and has a ton of experience. I wouldn't have chosen any other doctor to deliver my son in the operating room as she has years of experience and performed my wife's C-Section flawlessly. The front office staff can drop the ball sometimes (didn't cancel an appointment after we told them 5 times) and the wait is usually 30-45 minutes. This OBGYN is the best in my opinion and I only want the best when it comes to cutting open my wife and delivering a baby, that's where it really counts. Thanks Dr. Michaels!!!
I asked her to drive a little farther for a new WHASN location. I didn't have a very good experience at the other one, including a 2+ hour wait.I'm so grateful I went here instead. Katie has the best bedside manner and was so incredibly gentle during my exam- it wasn't until after it was over that I realized I never felt any discomfort. I also tend to feel nausea and pain afterward, but didn't have that experience this time. Really grateful I came here and really happy that Katie is my new practitioner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
