Very bad experience. My name is waldina vargas..I was there July 12 2022 Everytime I go for a doctor's visit he tries to rush it quick I can't even answer him any type of questions because I feel rushed..I just had a echo and heart monitoring results and it took him 2 minutes to read my results.. I have a aortic efficiency it's mild 2 years ago nothing has changed he said I do not need to see him anymore. Even if I have a mild condition is he supposed to do a echo test once a year..Does that mean he is not my cardiologist anymore and I have to look for a new one..

Felt like cattle getting pushed through as quickly as possible. Spent no time explaining my situation and was obvious he was too busy for questions. This is a business to push thru product. No doctor-patient relationship at all.

begin fist bumpThis review is four months in the making.  My insurance changed and I had to find a new cardiologist.  This practice was referred to me and it was by chance that Dr. Resh had an opening in a short period of time.  I  have been there for three office visits lasting a total of about 8 minutes.  The first, in September, gave me a chance to explain why I was there.  Within a very brief time, Dr. Resh set me up for four different tests.  He did not request my records from my porevious cardiologist of 10 months nor did he request records from Summerlin Hospital.  We were starting from scratch.  Note that all the tests that are ordered are done in Nevada Heart and Vascular facilities, so the more tests ordered, the more income for the practice.  This seems to be the same modus operandi as other Yelp reviewers.  This first visit lasted about 5 minutes.I was then scheduled for a four day Holter heart monitor, an echocardiogram (even though there was one done two months prior at my older cariodlogist).  There was also an echo of the abdomen.  There was a stress test to round out the four tests.  Then it was time for my second visit in November.  I was in the office about 2 miniutes for him to tell me that he was scheduling me for a PET scan.  There was something about the stress test.  When I tried to ask a question, he cut me off without answering, and the office visit was ended.My insurance company denied coverage for the PET scan.  Nevada Heart and Vascular appealed and it was denied a second time.  That brought me to yesterday--December 23--and my appointment.  Dr. Resh started with a fist bump when he came into the room--that's the extent of his bedside manner.  He sat at the computer and commented about the PET scan not being done.  I said that the insurance denied and that I agreed with the denial.  At that point, Dr. Resh told me that my GP could treat me and said I was a cardiologist.  I asked him about continuing a medication from my previous cardiologist and he responded, "You're the cardiologist."  He then headed for the door with the check in/out papers which he dropped on the floor outside the exam room.  I picked them up and showed myself to check out.  The woman working at checkout said I was discharged.  He dropped me.I will speak to my GP about a referral to a different cardiologist.  I will look for one that doesn't walk on water.  I have never had a physician who was so condescending, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, unwilling to listen or explain, and other adjectives which would be à propos along with some words I won't use.  I wonder if his attitude stems from the humiliation he must have had as managing partner to pay $2.5 million to end a case involving Nevada Heart and Vascular being involved in a kickback scheme.If you are referred here, go somewhere else.end fist bump

This man was very disrespectful to me as a patient. He should change his name to RUSH. He talked over me and wouldn't allow me to ask questions about the invasive tests he was ordering. He wouldn't let me ask any questions. He's a Cardiologist and he didn't even listen to my heart beat. I read other reviews about him, and everyone complains about his attitude. I think he's self-important. Confidence doesn't make a practitioner competent. How can a Physician make competent assessments about a patient with no assessment besides looking at the computer?

Rushed me through my appointment and appeared impatient when I asked questions. His standard reply was that I had high blood pressure because of my age. Remedy, take the medication.

My doctor is awesome! Unfortunately the support staff can be rude. Trying to call in will increase your heart rate! I held in excess collectively for 50 minutes to find I would be called back by an automated system. I work during the day as many people, if you miss the call then oh well there goes another hour of your time. All I needed was the time of my appointment 😩. It's ashamed that with all the doctors do right their staff washes away in minutes. What a horrible patient experience.

Best surgeon ever. Had my pacemaker generator changed with him at UMC's Cath Lab. He is very skilled and detailed about what he does as a doctor. You need to be persistent about concerns with him. He'll follow up with your concerns with tests and analysis without communicating. He will not explain issues if he feels it is non productive and inefficient use of your time. In a way he's actually trying to save your money by being thorough. He's extremely discerning and consistently considers multi dimension of variables about your heart condition even if it may seems on the surface like he does not care. He's exactly like Dr. House :-) Long story short, he does care.

Been seeing Dr. Resh since 2003 awesome doctor he’s kept me alive all those years from a fib and congestive heart failure. Always in concern about my health my family. Great doctor always research latest updates.

Every time I see this doctor, I have an hour or so wait. This last time I was in for a stress test at the Arville location. I waited over an hour just to get to the back. Then I was told that I’d have to wait another 2 hours. I was told they build in an hour wait but they don’t tell you that at the time that you make the appointment. Since I have an hour drive (one way) this makes for a very long and miserable day!

I had to get cleared by a cardiologist to get spinal surgery. My heart is perfectly healthy. I am 5'10", 145 lbs, exercise daily, vegan, no family history. You get the idea. I did 2 tests that proved such. But he knew he had me in a trap. That fraud made me do 5 tests and follows ups. He was NEVER going to sign off to let me get a much needed surgery. I was suffering but he only saw $$$$$$$. Finally, I asked for my fifth follow up to be with an ethical Dr at NVH&V named Jose Aquino. He looked at my tests and shook his head, signed my release and said, "Your tests are excellent. Sorry you went through that. They'll fax that at the front. Good luck with your surgery". The polar opposite of cretin Resh. I am still getting extra charges that this criminal is racking up. This is how he treats the vulnerable. He shouldn't be licensed. I am going to tell my insurance company what a disgusting predator he is. NEVER go to this awful disgrace for a subhuman.
