I am very happy with my choice to see Dr. Herbig. He I s delightfully personable and refreshingly thorough. I am a retired nurse and know the restrictive time limits if these big medical groups, but I didn’t feel rushed at all when I saw Dr. Herbig. I highly recommend him.

I was a patient of Dr. Herbig's before he transfered to help at the Washoe Indian Hospital. Needless to say, I was heart broken. It wasn't until I had to go the the ER a week ago and was talking to a gentleman while waiting that I discovered Dr. Herbig was back and had an office on the second floor. I hope to be able to become a patient of his again. He is a wonderful, down to earth, "real" Doctor.

Front desk staff are not very friendly or helpful. They have never mentioned any delays. My last 3 visits have had at least 30 minutes of waiting room time, and I waited an hour the last time. No explanations, apologies, or anything. To see that weight loss is one of his specialities here is amusing. He told me I should loose weight. How? By going on the mediteranean diet, period. OK. Anything else? Nope! Duh. That's expertise? I beg to differ. Overall I like him & he seems knowledgeable & chatty but doesn't follow up on things he mentioned at previous visits. Spends time with you usually but I don't appreciate waiting an hour before being seen when I have an appointment. He seemns a but rushed as clearly he doesn;t review my chart before the visit.
