Bennett Mitchell's Online Review Report Card

Writing this as I leave my appointment in tears. My FIRST appointment. I will never recommend this man to ANYONE especially those who struggle with anxiety and things like that. I was so nervous to go but I need referrals I suffer from chronic migraines fibro and EDS I need to be able to see specialists. He walks in the room doesn’t even look at me no eye contact nothing sat down facing a computer and told me my main issues are my Mental health (even though I’ve been to the hospital twice for pretty serious migraines)and then after telling him I’ve had anorexia since age 13 (I’ve gotten alot better) but recently I have put on some weight the guy basically told me I was crazy and fat I took my stuff while I was crying and left. Yes I have mental health issues but as a doctor a professional he was rude he was cold and he had ZERO compassion about my weight issues and about everything. the worst experience I’ve ever had with a PCP I will not be returning ever. And I’m hoping by writing this review no one else will have to go through such a horrible experience. No wonder the waiting room was empty!!!

No manners doesn’t even introduce himself and he is incredibly insensitive to peoples issues. I left his office crying on my first visit. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else who has compassion for others. He already had it in his head what my issues were. He saw my chart and the medications I am prescribed and made a preconceived notion about me and so many doctors do that and it’s horrible it’s the worst feeling in the world when your in such a vulnerable position and the doctor makes you feel like your issues aren’t real. If you want to be gaslit then I recommend him!

First appointment with him. I'm 64 years old and can't seem to find a decent doctor who really cares and "doctor" Mitchell was the worst ever. He came into my exam room, first time meeting him, did not look at me nor introduce himself. Awkward. I said "hello, so you're Dr. Mitchell"? He said yes, still not looking at me. Throughout the visit he only looked, I'm guessing, at me when listening to my heart. He did not address any of my current issues, high blood pressure for which he did not give me a prescription. My mother died 2 years ago from a stroke and had a pacemaker. I have osteoarthritis and he did not suggest any relief or procedure to alleviate my pain. He wanted to know what medications I was currently on so I was explaining what I had been on and why and he cut me off saying "just say yes or no" as he listed my past prescriptions, RUDE. When he was done NOT helping me, he walked out saying "she'll be right in" meaning the medical assistant I assumed. Still no eye contact. 0.

I'm trying to get a different primary care physician. Very cold and didn't explain anything. When I told him that I work with children and that I have to lift them to change diapers he just said you have your right hand. Mind you my left shoulder is the issue im having I can't even lift a gallon of milk without my arm giving out

He was not very helpful to my care you want it to the his personal views versus his medical views on a topic I'm an asthmatic and he took my care lightly my concerns I would not recommend him

Dr. Mitchell is amazing doctor, he take his time and listing to you. He is been patient and kind.

He listens to you, has been a physician for many years and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Excellent follow up with information after tests ordered. Staff is the best. Very kind and considerate. I saw some rating for a one but the patients said in their reviews that he was a good doctor. I think that they didn't understand that a 1 star was negative and 5 stars positive.

I have had Dr Bennett for a year know and I tried to get an appointment for him and it takes 3 month's!! I need two knee replacement's and a hip replacement! I finally was able to go around him and I'm getting my first knee replacement this October at Optumcare orthopedics this month. the way they answer their phones instead of having you speak to machine for 10 minutes and still never getting through!! This is the worst Dr. office and I'm filing a complaint with Medicare against !!~!!
