North Vista Hospital's Online Review Report Card

I live close to this place and I will tell you my wife and my primary care physician has warned me about this place. The receptionist were the best part of this dump and that isn't saying much. The website clearly lies about the emergency wait time. Then you get to the registration ladies and because I work, the ladies has question why I have the insurance I have instead of having the 600 dollars per month that my job offers. That has happened on two occasions. When I finally get to the back, I started feeling a little better about my visit and I started getting quality service, then my urine sample comes back and I was basically treated like crap because my weight lose medicine has amphetamine in it. Before my urine test came back this hospital was helping me with my chronic pain and yes I have chronic pain from a serious accident. But as soon as they thought they found meth in my system these guys rushed me out with half results and discharge papers talking about meth addiction. I'm taking diet pills, not drugs. How very offensive. NEVER AGAIN, when I told my primary care physician about this she was offended for me.

The nursing assistant and the nurses in ER and the doctors took good care of me.

I have never been to a hospital that had more friendly, caring staff. Excellent explanations of what was going to happen during my surgery and my stay. I would highly recommend this hospital!!!

First experience at North Vista Emergency Room was seamless, efficient, excellent, l was super duper pleased!!! I brought a book to read while I waited but didn't have a chance. It was a Monday about 5 or 6pm, it was busy. Checked in and within 10 minutes I was being triaged, my care giver made contact with me. Blood work, CT was done within 30 minutes, 30 more minutes I had results and prescription was written but I wanted a different antibiotic and she happily changed it and I was outta there in less than 2 hours! YAY!!! Thank you!!!

Just do not go here ok. If you need a reason then just know you will get the answer before you leave. I did. They have bad emergency room reviews for a reason. I know why. Wont ever come back or see a doctor here again.

This place is not really clean, the staff don’t show an “emergency” or a “prompt” attitude. With a full waiting room, someone came to ask “privileged information”, like address, social security numbers and dates of birth. Their service takes for ever. Sad… very sad situation at this hospital.There were bandages in the chairs, eyelashes on the floor, the front desk glass was dirty and nasty… the curtains inside didn’t even protect those on their beds… uncomfortable situation.

Waste of time and black people will always come last no matter what the condition.

Impossible to get in touch with the billing dept. Totally impossible to reach a human being who can help sort out why a billing nightmare happened.🤬 I'll give them zero stars if I could for this. About a month ago, I was at their ER. I NEVER received a bill. I had no idea how long bbefore they would send a bill, so I've been waiting. Then, three days ago, I received two letters, one clearly from a collections agency and one from an emergency physicians company (probably also collection). I have not opened them (in case I need to hire a lawyer, the lawyer can decide), SINCE I WAS PROMISED A REGULAR BILL AND A CHANCE TO SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN. I have been trying to get in touch with their billing/business dept, but to no avail. Their billing dept phone number listed on their website is incorrect. It is the admissions dept that picks up - and then hangs up.🤬 Then when I call the main number, I get a recording (of course). I press the correct number for the business dept, and I'm sent to voicemail. I leave a voice message asking them to return my call. They have not called back. Are they making money by sending to collections instead of SENDING A BILL IN THE MAIL AS THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO? So MY CREDIT WILL BE RUINED FOR THE NEXT 7 YEARS BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE NORTH VISTA HOSPITAL'S BILLING DEPT, MADE?! I REFUSE TO DEAL WITH A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR A BILL I NEVER RECEIVED! if you're uninsured, stay away from this hospital! They'll totally screw you over. A mistake, not sending the bill, is one thing (and it could have been lost in the mail too - it must be somewhere, if it was sent, but I never got a bill from them). Making it impossible for people to get through to their billing dept is not an innocent mistake. THAT'S PURPOSELY TO HINDER PEOPLE IN REACHING THEM. WHY?! SO THE PATIENT IS FORCED TO GO THROUGH COLLECTIONS?!
