Dr. Sarabia was my moms anesthesiologist for my mom's heart surgery. He explained everything in detail and was very informative. My mom went home after the 2nd day in the hospital. Overall great experience. Oh and he is also quite nice to look at!

He was the anesthesiologist for my daughter’s scheduled CSection recently at Renown. He was rude, cold and uncaring and treated everyone in the room including the Doctor performing the surgery with complete disrespect, to the point of exhibiting impatience and anger. His demeanor caused unnecessary anxiety and stress. He should only be around unconscious people as he clearly lacks empathy and kindness not to mention basic social skills.

He is arrogant and explained nothing. No compassion!! When questions asked about what medications would be used for anesthesia, his response was “what does it matter, an array of medications.” Very uncomfortable knowing your life is in someone’s hands like this. Total lack of people skills, felt like a number and not a part in my own care.

Dr. Sarabia was simply amazing. Really put me at ease for my heart surgery. He was kind and made an effort to call me the day before my surgery. I have since requested him for my knee surgery and he did a wonderful job there as well. He even gave me a nerve block that numbed my knee for about a day. I had no pain which I found pretty amazing.
