List of Alison Lynch's Reviews
I have been seeming Dr. Lynch for about 9 months now. She has been great in helping me find solutions that fit with my life. She listens and provides information. She has a good balance of business and person as well. When I see her we talk about our lives enough that I feel more comfortable each time but still remain professional. I’m really impressed with her as a doctor.
I've had 2 doctors give up their practices in the last 3 years. As someone who will be going on medicare in the next year it is important that I become established with a new primary care doctor before that happens. I found Dr Lynch to be a kind and professional woman who took time to listen to my health concerns. She offered some good advice on a couple of topics I brought up and she actually has a sense of humor!
We are new to the area, and looked up a Dr.that would fit all my needs. She was so professional ,that 2 more of my friends have started to use her.We are all pleased with her. What a great Dr.
I came to Dr. Lynch after not being completely comfortable with my previous health care provider. I find her to be knowledgeable and caring. My teenage daughter is now also a patient and at her first appointment asked that I accompany her. Dr. Lynch seemed fine with having a parent at the appointment and made a point to direct questions and speak to my daughter, which is exactly as it should be. Dr. Lynch made a point of bringing up important health issues for young people that may be a bit difficult to tread, but she did it well. My daughter is also very happy with Dr. Lynch and she knows that she can go to her with any health concerns that arise.
I'm sure Dr. Lynch is knowledgeable when it comes to medicine, but working with patients in a respectful manner is not her strong point. I am in my late 40s not my late 80s. She spoke to me like I was technologically illiterate (she asked me if I was "techy" and was so happy to learn that I know how to download an app and use a smart phone.) She asked what I did for a living. I explained that I have two school-aged children and I volunteer my time (I do not have a full time job). She reassured me even though I don't work a 9-5 job, I "still work hard" at home raising 2 children. I was never disputing the fact that I work hard at home and she seemed to assume I was telling her that I volunteer my time because I was embarrassed about staying home. I didn't waste my time explaining that I volunteer my time mentoring small business owners on digital marketing, communications, and community outreach. She seemed to form an impression of me within the first 5 minutes of my visit - that I'm a stay-at-home mom who needs reassurance that what I do is valuable. If I were a man who volunteered his time and had school-aged children, she would not have seen a need, nor even thought, to reassure me that I "still work hard", even without a full time job. I am really not personally offended by any of this. In any other setting, I would just smile and ignore this severely out-of-touch person. However, she's a doctor treating me medically for some common issues I'm starting to develop as I age. Because of these concerns, I'll be scheduling with a new primary care physician.
I feel it's important to have patients beaware of this physican who is "Patient Profiling" Don't be a victim like me. I'm appalled at how I was treated as well as how my husband and I were spoken to. Yes I made a formal complaint with Renown so you and your love ones don't experience the situation this physican put us in. No one deserves the mistreatment we recieved. She patient profiled me and acuse me of doctor shopping, that is a huge accusation that is false and NOT TRUE! Listening is one of the most important skills a physican can have and trust. This doctor lacks communication skills. Not sure in her education if she skipped bedside manners but this physican is rude and insulting and empathy.
Dr. Lynch has been my doctor for the past 3 years, had to see Dr. Lynch a number of times, week after week after week, for a reoccurring medical condition that wouldn't ever just go away. Dr. Lynch did everything possible within her boundaries to treat and cure the medical emergency I had within a short amount of time and kindness.
Was unable to see my regular Dr for a concern I had, was able to schedule with Dr. Lynch as an alternate. She made me feel VERY comfortable with a medical issue that was very personal and diagnosed the condition and prescribed a treatment plan that seems to be working. While I like and trust my primary provider, I would have NO PROBLEM seeing Dr. Lynch as an alternate, and I would readily recommend her as a primary care physician to anyone who asked.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
