List of Andrew Pasternak's Reviews
I've spoken with the office several times. More than once it's taken me a couple of calls for the to answer - often they seem to pick up the phone and immediately hang up - forcing one to try again. When you do get a receptionist, they behave as if they are doing YOU the favor of even speaking to you. The overall vibe is that they seem to forget common courtesy, rudeness is the goto attitude, and they behave as if they don't need patients. I want a doctor's office that is pleasant and accommodating, because, chances are, I am there because I am not well. The last thing I need is running an attitude gauntlet. I also believe that the fact that Pasternak seems to allow this tells me much about him as well!

Went in for an injury and he fat shamed me. Does not seem to want to address anything except his sports med patients.
Dr. Pasternak is the best primary care doctor in this town. He is thorough, considerate and intelligent. My only problem with writing this review is that he gets too busy to see me!
I came in for a check up because it’s been a really long time and I had several random concerns that I was hoping to discuss. Admittedly, I had no super major concerns and wasn’t really sure how primary care doctors work, and Dr. Pasternak seemed irritated as soon as I communicated that. It felt like every question I had made him annoyed (of course just my perception and I don’t know if that’s true) but I felt so uncomfortable that I just stopped and let him do the rest of the examination without pursuing the rest of my inquiries. I honestly have never been so uncomfortable with a doctor as I was with him. The rest of the staff were super kind and helpful, especially the woman who take my height and weight and got me all set up. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and kindness and that is definitely not what I experienced with Dr Pasternak.
I think Dr. Pasternak is the best doctor I’ve had in my life. He is so intelligent you can practically see the wheels spinning in his head as he listens, reads your chart, and diagnoses simultaneously. His instincts are based on sound medical and logical principles. I trust him completely. His assistant and office staff are great, too. If you’re looking for someone warm and fuzzy, you might not be happy with him; if you’re looking for someone who might be a medical genius, he’s your guy.
Dr Pasternak is the best primary care doc I've encountered. Smart, attentive and the staff & facilities are great too. Always difficult to leave this type of review knowing that it may only make it difficult to see him in the future. He deserves the accolades...
11/2020, Completely unsatisfied with the unprofessional patient service I was given by office staff personnel by the name of Eric. I called to get MRI results for my daughter, in which “Eric” told me Dr. Pasternak would only speak to my daughter. I then carefully explained that I am on her medical paperwork and it can be released to me (she is 19yrs old). I was in Reno, and didn’t want to leave until I made sure my daughter was going to alright. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me she is an adult and the info would not be released to me. I asked that the Dr. call me, as I was not going to continue to listen to this unprofessional staff member any longer. He then started yelling again telling me the office was busy with Covid patients and hung up on me. This is a short version of a terrible phone conversation that a concerned mother had for her daughter’s well being... this guy Eric should be fired immediately due to his lack of knowledge, patience, patient care and understanding of how professionalism can determine whether or not a person(s) will select a doctor for healthcare needs. He represents Dr. Pasternak and the rest of the staff in a negative way.
Dr. Pasternak was patient with me when discussing my issues during my first visit and he gave me a couple of doctor referrals upon request. I recently request a ENT referral for checking a lump under my chin. The referral was required by the ENT clinic I called to. After contacting Dr. Pasternak by emails along with follow-up phone calls for a week, however, his staffers still failed to track when my request will be responded to!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
