List of Donald R. Black's Reviews
I have been a patient here many years. Always a pleasant experience and professional treatment.
If I could give this doctor 0 stars, I would. I was so offended and felt so angry and mistreated after I left his office. I went to my car an bawled after my visit. He took me in the room and sat down with me and literally told me he couldn't treat me. He didn't look at may rash, he didn't ask me what I have been doing, what I have taken or ANYTHING. He said that my dermatologist didn't know what they were talking about so they sent me to him and that he can't help me either. He literally told me to go see someone else. I have been dealing with this rash for years and have seen 4 different doctors that all told me to see an allergist to get a patch test done. And this Doctor wouldn't even give me a minute of his time. I would never recommend him to anyone.
dealing w chronic hives from head to toe and he just tells me to double up on Claritin which I have already been doing. pointless time wasted
This is a doctor who makes his money by repeatedly requiring that you book return appointments even for simple refills such Flonase allergy spray throughout the year. My time spent with him has not been so much as to diagnosis my various allergies, but soothe his alarm when he learned of a unassociated, lifelong pre-existing conditioning. It was clear at this point that he completely unwilling to treat me for allergies and subsequently gave me a prescription for Flonase and said when it ran out I could buy it over the counter at Walmart.
Donald black is arrogant, pompous. Looks down his nose at patients. Thinks they're all stupid. Black is bad medicine. Cheat health insurers and patients and if that isn't bad enough he has bad breath and farts.
Dr. Black charged my health insurer $700.00 for a 7 minute visit. A fraudulent charge. Fraudulent diagnosis and cheating patients health. Awful experience from a crooked Dr.
Donald Black, arrogant, pompous, stole $700.00 from my health insurance for a 10 minute exam. Mockingly said I was allergic to Russian Elm trees.
Dr. Black is so amazing. He is so kind and takes his time with you. He listens and is SO knowledgeable about his patients. He is head and shoulders better than anyone else.
My first visit with Dr Black was more than impressive. He literally spent an hour with me reviewing my medical history followed by a through examination before giving me his diagnosis. He is very professional and comprehensive. His personality is very friendly. If anyone needs an excellent allergist, I highly recommend Dr Black!
After reviewing allergy specialists in Reno for my daughter we ended up here. I couldn't have chosen a better place to go. I was able to be seen within 2 days of scheduling my appointment. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. This place felt more like a hometown doctors office than it did a large city doctor. We couldn't have felt more comfortable here. Dr. Black was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to listen to all of our family history and the symptoms that my daughter was experiencing. After a full discussion we opted to forgo to the scratch test for now and put the money towards an epipen. He even set us up with a coupon that saved us a ton. I highly recommend coming here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
