If you are looking for a straight-forward, cut to the chase doctor, look no further! My husband and I have been battling weight loss and vomiting with our 2 month old for a month now. 4 pediatricians later and a hospital visit, here comes Dr. Hulka with a prognosis after a couple of tests. Bless her heart. There was no beating around the bush and we really appreciated that. I didn't want sugar coating and false hope - I wanted answers, which she gave straight away! We were so exhausted trying out things with our baby that would only work temporarily. She gave us the opportunity to talk, listened, then went over her findings, drew out a diagram, explained in detailed, went over the surgery plans with us and recovery. She has frequently checked on our daughter in PICU and Pediatrics as well. Amazing, articulate, professional. 10/10

Frieda Hulka ruined my mothers health and her quality of life...for the rest of her life. This POS doctor stitched closed my mothers only working kidney tube during surgery for diverticulitis. As a direct result, my mother suffers from an ongoing UTI, months and months of IV antibiotics that do not work, and has to endure routine stint replacements, every three months, for the rest of her life. When confronted with the fact that she stitched up the kidney tube, she denied any such wrong doing. The icing on this cake is Frieda Hulka"s bedside manner. She has none. She belittled my poor mom, leaving her in tears, on more than one occasion. I would not wish Frieda Hulka on my worst enemy!

My Mom went in for emergency surgery, to have part of her intestine taken out by Dr. Hulka; but in doing so Dr. Hulka also sewed up part of her kidney tube!!! Which was not discovered until 5 months late by another doctor! S My Mom has been bed bound and unable to get out of bed on her own for the last 5 months! When we confronted Dr. Hulka about her sewing up my Moms kidney tube, she denied it. I would NOT RECOMMEND her.

Preformed a surgery on my day old premie connecting his esophagus to his stomach. She is very good at what she does, informed us well about what would happen before he was even born, was great about follow ups, and genuinely cared about my baby. All the doctors he’s seen since have complimented her work and his scar is so minimal. Thank you doctor!

Dr.Hulka is awesome she did my sons 2 surgeries 11/20/2011 and 4/3/2014. She is a great surgeon. Really nice and caring gets the job done. She also helped with a most recent incident one to two years ago giving advice over the phone. Might be seeing her soon again.

Dr Frieda Hulka is a wonderful surgeon. Always friendly and caring and a good sense of humor! She operated twice on my son, and even though I worried because you always do when someone you loves has surgery I was never worried about Dr Hulka’s ability and knowledge!
