Charge for things he didn't do, his results of what he did do. Walked in and out with no service but charged in full my health insurance. Also yelled at me when I asked him a question about what results he was getting. He wouldn't tell me anything . Waste of time and terrorized Clammy creepy touch

Very knowledgeable of sarcoidosis of the eyes. A treatment plan was set and explained. Very caring. His staff is excellent.

I am so pissed off at this doctor. I had a visit in 2019, at the time of my deductible and co pay, and never heard anything else. 18 months later I get a bill for almost $600! Apparently they never billed insurance and insurance denied the claim. Well yea! I lost my job and insurance so of course they will deny the claim. Now I have no job, I am out of money and this fuck head crook is taking me to collection, I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THE BILL! He basically said "sorry thats your problem". CROOK!

I'm sad to say this amazing doctor is hanging it up after many years of dedicated practice in a specialty that is hard to duplicate knowledge in. I have been a patient for about 7-years, and I could not be any happier with his level of attention, his chair side manner, and his ability to actually listen to the patient. Having a specific genetic disorder that is approached with other unknowns is hard enough. One of these unknowns brought me here and he not only described the issue but has been instrumental in my mitigation of migraines and visual fatigue in the workplace. He completes paperwork as required and ensures my onset medications are refilled quickly. And because of the uniqueness of my diagnoses, I have had the opportunity to train some of his staff in working with me specifically or others like me to produce positive results in testing and photography/scans that can be otherwise difficult to accomplish. My favorite memory here....the ability to play Stump the Chump with one of his UNR interns doing an ophthalmology rotation. This guy had no clue what he was up against and Dr. H just sat back and enjoyed the show! One review said "his ego can inflate a hot air balloon!" Of course it can! This man has earned accreditation and validation to the point of being published in his research and treatment and the accolades that come with that honor. I am going to have a hard time having someone else follow me - if they can, that is! The journey I've had with Dr. Hershewe bas been an amazing one - I have learned a lot and glad I was referred to him during a huge time of unknowns in my world. He made the difference. Thank you for all you and your staff did!

I've only had two doctors over the years that I really enjoy and trust. Dr. Hershewe is one of those two!! Always friendly and factual, my visits are always enjoyable.

Saw this doctor once she I wouldn't go back. His ego could inflate a hot air balloon. I got 0 new or useful information. Instead, I got a huge bill and "come back in 3 months." I didn't.

Was more enamored with my birthmark than my eye problem. Told me to come back in a bikini so he could take photographs.

I was at the office yesterday and I am so very impressed. I am a doctor's daughter myself and known to be more than critical as a result. I can truly say that Dr.Hershewe is worthy of any and all praise. After an examination that could not have left anything to chance I left with something I have not had in a long while. Hope.

He is a wonderful doctor. Takes whatever time is needed with each patient. Helped me a lot for my eye related problem. He would even call me personally when I had questions regarding my treatment questions! Amazing person. Very caring.
