Jeffrey Nugent's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Nugent is awesome. He was nice and efficient in explaining what was going to happen. I look forward to working with him and his staff again. He had me and my sister laughing a lot and made the whole visit so much better. He also didn't have a problem with me bringing my baby into the appointment. He interacted with her a little bit as he was leaving to see another patient. All of the nurses and staff were helpful and super sweet. The office had a very pleasant feeling about it. Everyone was very helpful.

Saw Dr. Nugent for re-occurring hives. I called twice in 3 weeks and received return calls 2 days later with responses not even close to the question I asked! I did get upset, the nurses were oblivious to my file or chart. I did not need a refill!!! I needed my questions answered by a doctor. The doc called me a few days later stating "his team could not care for such a demanding patient" I was then sent a letter stating the above. I was then sent a certified letter stating the above. A doctor his age should have learned some bed side manner by now. I agree with the additional one star comment, this doctor should provide allergy care to everyone, not the people he chooses that he likes. 2 questions in three weeks about a new medication threw this doctor and his "team" over the edge.

I have rescheduled due to my kids being sick, covid, and because my allergies were feeling better. I called today to bump my appointment up and she told me that if I reschedule again they are going to have to charge me a copayment. I just said just cancel it altogether then because who knows if something comes up. They only had availability 3 months out so to me if they are in demand that much, they could easily fill the appointment I have for next week. I also heard you have to wait an hour or more. To me all bad signs so I will go elsewhere.

He is a genuinely nice person, cares about his patients and one of the most competent physicians I have met.

Doctor was in a rush not taking much time with my questions and exam.

If this is the Allergist! He is great!

Dr. Nugent gave me the tools so I could treat my stubborn sinus and skin issues at home. Surprisingly effective, my quality of life has improved, thanks to him. I'm impressed!

Our family has been going to Northern Nevada allergy for over 3 years. I have four children and three of them see Dr. Nugent. He is awesome at making the kids feel comfortable. We love the people in the office especially Tori. They have been efficient with helping us schedule multiple appointment. The office is clean and comfortable. We are very pleased with the service which we have received.

During my husband's 1st appt Dr Nugent was an hour and twenty minutes late before seeing him. My husband complained at that time and was told how sorry they were. We assumed that the next appointment would be different. On the 2nd appt he waited for another hour and still had not been seen so he got up and left. Is our time not just as important as the Dr's? Could his staff have alerted us that there would be a delay and given him the option of rescheduling. Respect works both ways and I do not feel his time was respected. We will not be back!

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. Dr. Nugent did a thorough job of reviewing my test results and explaining my options. He also explained how various medications work. As a professional pilot, I especially valued his background as a Flight Surgeon and familiarity with FAA Aeromedical regulations. My only caveat is be prepared to wait a while to get an appointment. He is booked well in advance.
