Terrible bedside manner’s Felt rushed at the appointment and was often cut off from speaking. Do not recommend

Bear in mind, most patients who leave reviews for doctors do so because they're disgruntled for some reason (which may have nothing to do with the doctor), and most patients who are pleased with their care do not leave reviews, which leads to an inherently unbalanced perspective that is likely inaccurate or at least very biased. I found Dr. Reyes to be exceptionally professional and dedicated to working with my 5 other doctors to help us find the cause of my bizarre symptoms (a cause which we ultimately did find). She shows a genuine interest, takes the time to thoroughly answer questions, and went above and beyond to ensure that an expensive (and very necessary) procedure was squeezed in before my deductible reset. I could not ask for better care, and am glad I experienced her care first-hand rather than listen to only the negative reviews.

I have been a patient of Dr. Reyes' for a few years. I had always found her to be thorough and caring until my visit last week. She was rushed and uninterested in me as a patient. I was asked if I had just scheduled the appointment when I had made it 2 weeks prior. I even had to chase her out of the room to ask a question. This visit was so disturbing that I called the office to ask if I was even supposed to have been there. I found that I had been mistakenly booked under a nurse's schedule so I was apparently just being squeezed in. I would have much rather been sent home and rescheduled than treated the way I was. So disappointing.

I feel this is not a doctor that put patient care as a priority. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I absolutely do not recommend this doctor. I feel her ego gets in the way of quality patient care. She showed a lack of compassion for how she behaved in front of my son and did nothing to help ensure he received quality care. She did not clearly communicate problems and I feel has not acted ethically to ensure continued care to a child.

I've been seeing Dr. Maria Reyes for more than 6 years, and I have to say, in this day and age of factory medicine, it’s rare to find such a thorough, thoughtful and insightful doctor. Dr. Reyes guided me thorough incapacitating allergies to be symptom free (I was pretty much allergic to everything that grows in Nevada plus my cats). Dr Reyes has been my doctor for a few years. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. Her treatment has helped me a lot. She listens to my concerns.

She does not listen to you or your experience she does a scratch test That's all she relied on!

This was my second time at Northern Nevada Allergy. The first time I saw a different doctor and asked to see Dr. Reyes for my second visit because I heard such great reviews. As I was waiting in the room, I could first hear her outside the door talking to a student that was in for observation. She said, "Ohh great this girl hasn't been in for a year and a half, has never even seen me before and is my last patient." Her tone of voice was rude and I felt like she was unhappy that I was even in there. I was extremely disappointed because I drove over an hour to come see her and she made me feel uncomfortable from the beginning. I hope she can read this at some point because it felt extremely unprofessional and would not recommend anyone to her.

In the several visits I've had with Dr.Reyes, she has always been punctual, takes her time, explains the treatment plan in detail. She is always very pleasant.
