CHECK IN WAS EASY AND PROMPT. THEY TOLD ME HE WAS RUNNING BEHIND, HOWEVER THE WAIT WAS NOT THAT LONG. DR. TOLBERT IS VERY KIND AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME TO MY UNDERSTANDING. HE WAS PATIENT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS.

Dr Tolbert's nurse practitioner was very dismissive and cold. Dr. Tolbert is calm, professional and cordial but felt a bit closed off and I was uncomfortable asking questions. Unfortunately there are few choices for neurosurgery groups in Reno.

Referred to Dr. Tolbert for mid-thoracic vertebrae fracture. He showed me my MRI and patiently explained the imaging, in a way easy for my lay-person self to understand. He recommended a minimally invasive out-patient surgery, describing the procedure and why - also patiently. Never felt rushed during the appointment. He seemed to sincerely care about my situation. Would highly recommend him for his knowledge, and demeanor!

At my first appointment, It was suggested to go to physical therapy for six weeks and then schedule an appointment for getting steroids injections into 2 vertebrates in my lower spine. I followed the recommendations and day by day I was able to stand up straighter and most of the back pain went away. Thank you for helping me stand up straighter and have less back pain.
