Matthew Mills's Online Review Report Card

I showed up 15 minutes early to check in for my 8:30 am appointment and was told my appointment wasn’t until 9:30 am. When I produced my appointment card showing my appointment time at 8:30 am the receptionist said there had been some adjustments to the schedule and they must have called to tell me but she couldn’t find any notes indicating they had. Of course, they had NOT called me. She could have apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to fit me in as soon as possible rather than making excuses but she didn’t. While I was waiting in the lobby another patient checked in 30 minutes late for their 8:30 am appointment and she was taken back right away,. So, fitting me in early should have been doable but the receptionist didn’t even check me in until 9:15 am. My interaction with Dr. Mills and his other office staff was great but didn’t compensate for the poor treatment I received at the front desk.

I took my 91 year old Mother for a cataract issue and we were treated with absolute rudeness by Dr. Mills staff. One of his very apprentice staffers physically mishandled my Mother who has a hip issue and the office supervisor (or whatever she was) was fully out of her league in working with people whose parents are being mistreated. Mills "may" be good, but if his staff is any indication of his capabilities, skip this office! And his promoted military credentials amount to zip re office professionalism.

Happy to have gone to Dr. Mills for my cataract surgery. I felt him to be confident and have integrity. Surgery went well and follow ups were professional. Good vision is now a reality without problems at any level. Also thanks to Dr. Leila Mirbaha and all other members of the staff who seemed to be doing their best.

After scheduling rides to and from the surgery center and waiting 30 min just to be told there are staffing problems and it will be another hour. Tired of the inconsiderate Drs. that cannot have their staff make a phone call to reschedule when there are delays. Cancelled appt. Very disappointed.

Totally satisfied with the amazing results of my Lasic procedure! The staff is very professional, and friendly! I highly recommend them.

My experience with having my cataracts removed could not have been better. I found the staff to be professional and caring. The doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable and this made me confident going into surgery. Dr. Mills is fantastic. The surgery was fast and painless. The results could not have been better, my vision is clear and sharp. My heartfelt thanks to the entire group for the life-changing vision I now enjoy.

Undoubtedly, the most unprofessional eye care facility in Washoe County. Staff was rude, amateur and robotically performed their functions with little concern for the patient. Moreover, do not let the casual easy-going stance of “Dr.” Mills (with his long-forgotten and short military background) fool you. He did not even reply to my personal letter to him. Therefore, if this is how he runs his office, how does he treat his patients! Many other eye surgeons in Reno deserve you attention.
