List of Phelps C Kip's Reviews
Kip. is a very dishonest Doctor. Uses other people medical records to paid by the insurance companies.
In 2009 I was fed up with back pain. My GP said “Don’t do it”. Everyone warned me “No back surgery”. I visited Dr Phelps and told him I’m open to surgery. Lumbar fusion L4-L5. My sister was going to have the exact same surgery but she lives in Fresno, California and surprisingly has worked in hospitals since 1972. Based on our surgeries, my sister’s operation did not work. Pins or bolts hurt and had to had a surgery to fix that. She’s still taking Hydrocodone and still in pain. My surgery worked. In 9 weeks I was back to work at Charter/Spectrum warehouse on my feet, bending and lifting 10-12 hours a day. I was 55 years old and the only thing I failed at was I needed help to end my pain pill addiction. But I got help with an addiction specialist. I have to believe that it was Dr Phelps’ experience and knowledge that made my back surgery so successful.
Trying to make an appointment here with scheduler is ridiculous, when your in pain its very difficult to jump thru hoops.
Dr. Kip and his staff are all excellent people and care about every individual patient.
Dr. Kip is a wonderful doctor. He listened to every word I said to him. I recommend him to all my family and friends!
Best office! Best Doctor!! I feel so much better!
After the first meeting with Dr. Kip I felt confident that he would be able to help me with my back problems. He took the time to explain all that he thought was wrong with me and what he and his staff were going to do to try and correct it. All the time being very professional and very friendly. I am truly grateful for Dr. Kips help. I told all my friends, family and coworkers if they experience any back problems Dr. Kip is the one see.
Dr. Kip and his excellent staff explained everything very clearly. My surgery was scheduled very quickly. The surgery has been very good to me so far. I would and will tell everyone that I would recommend Dr. Kip for his skill and" bedside manner" I won't forget his very excellent staff either!
One year after lower back fusion and doing great, Dr. Kip cleaned up another Dr.'s mess and made my life pretty much pain free and active.
The staff is beyond wonderful and warrants a 5 star. Dr. Kip is very nice in the beginning and let's you ask lots of questions. He said he would come and talk to me before surgery and see if I had any questions but neither he or his assistant came to see me before or after surgery. His assistant did come in once in the 5 days, that I was in the hospital, to check on me and that was it. After that it was check ups every month, with them canceling appointments here and there and having an xray every time I went in. After about 8 xrays and realizing I was not any better at all, I stopped seeing Dr. Kip or his assistant and went to the pain management doctor, Dr. Rehyer, in the same office. That was a nightmare. Have not heard good things about another surgeon in this group either. With 2 MRIs and 8 xrays and surgery, I lost about 2/3 of my hair too. The xrays, I now know, were just another way to get money. I did refer a friend to them and they were really taken for a ride and it was a costly one with no help. Have moved on to new doctors and would advise you not going to see this doctor or any of the other doctor's in that office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
