Dr Cohen and staff have the answers when I’ve had health questions for my special needs daughter and have been professional and quick with our time in the appointment. Our family knows first hand what docs are up against for todays health insurance-ruled medical facilities and they are still delivering excellent patient care in this environment. Thank you!

Dr. Sheryl was in so much hurry it seems. She hurried up and got my son's yearly check up done in below 15 mins. My sons is a pretty healthy kid and we only got to check with her during our yearly well check ups. Her front office called and cancelled our appts for 3 times in a row saying the the doctor wont be available. Finally we are changing the pediatrician for my son.

My child keeps having to have weight checks and he is not over weight. He is as tall as 11yr and he is 9.

I've been taking all of my 3 kids to Dr. Cohen for their whole lives and we couldn't be happier with the care we receive. She is very savvy with her knowledge of how the body works and has always been able to answer my questions. She is a charming doctor and me and the kids have grown to love her. It was very convenient during pregnancy to have her next door to the delivery room. After the kids came into the world, she was always there with a smile to greet and examine them. All of the doctors, including Dr. Cohen, at Northern Nevada Pediatrics have many years of experience under their belt and run a great practice with the friendliest staff. They are located in Renown but have no affiliation with them except for location. Waiting room is divided into two sections - Sick and Well child. I love that after my appointments, I can go to the first floor and grab snacks and food (Starbucks, Subway, Yogurt pops). Parking is never a problem (though sometimes just a little time will do the trick in the garage) and (friendly) valet is available for $3 most times. Check out the garden, gift shop, floral shop for fun and look for the playground located within Renown.

We love Dr. Cohen! She has been taking care of our little since she was born. We wanted a doctor that would not sugar-coat information or change the care of our child because we are the parents. She is the doctor. That's what She went to school for. I trust her 100%. She tells you like it is. Her Staff is just as amazing... with the exception of some schedualers. I have ZERO complaints!!

Can you say EGO?? Dr. Cohen is not open to your comments or suggestions about the care of your children. She is quite rude and offends easily if you challenge anything she says. She is absolutely stuck in the "I'm a doctor" attitude. Too bad she doesn't know that what she is isn't what she does. I have challenged what she has said regarding treatment when she has completely contradicted herself. Watch out... she does not like that and skirts around you trying to end the doctor visit.

This was our first visit with Dr Cohen. She performed a well check with my 7-year-old son. He does not have any health problems and we did not express any concerns to her. She was very friendly and open to discuss anything we wanted to discuss. She gave us several opportunities to speak (I.e. “Is there anything else you’d like to discuss?” “Do you have any questions?”). The visit was relaxed and straightforward. Dr. Cohen has been particularly helpful with my daughter who has had complex developmental needs. She listens thoroughly, makes appropriate referrals when needed, and is patient and kind. She knows my children, not just doctors them. For example, she remembers their interests and activities. Highly recommend Northern Nevada Pediatrics and Dr. Cohen specifically.

She has been our pediatrician for all 3 of my kids who are now grown! The youngest is 17 and fast approaching adulthood so we will be so sad when we cannot see Dr. Cohen anymore. She has always been very prompt, very thorough and never rushes us out despite how long we may need to discuss things or ask her questions. She is a gem! Your little ones are in great hands with her.
