Dr Goz is excellent!

Dr. Goz and the ROC are absolutely amazing. I came from out of state where the orthopedic and spine care are difficult to come by with long wait times, slow referrals and mixed diagnoses. I had been in search of a solution to my ongoing pain issues for 3 years there and getting mixed information about the source. I was told it was my back, then my hips, then my back again and referred to specialists who often took weeks or months to even contact me. But from the moment I walked in to the ROC I was amazed at the quality and efficiency, and the impressively high level of competence of everyone in the place. Appointments started right on time. The doctors were thorough and caring focusing on patient needs and listening carefully. I was initially there for what I thought would be a hip replacement but that was quickly deemed not necessary by the excellent diagnostic skills of the surgeon. When it was determined to likely be my back instead of being referred to a spine doctor (Dr. Goz) in a week or two or longer, I was led up to the spine clinic and saw Dr. Goz almost immediately. He thoroughly explained my options to address the problem in my back which he diagnosed with comprehensive x-rays. After going through the 3 options I chose the first, a lumbar shot, and his assistant Jenn immediately made an appointment at the Pain Specialists for the following Tuesday. I had the shot and it worked. I just had my followup with Dr. Goz today and got a clean bill and told I could fly home on Friday. I'm thrilled to say the least. This is easily the most competent and comprehensive health care facility I've ever experienced and I owe a great deal to the patient care skills of Dr. Goz and his whole staff. I cannot recommend the ROC and Dr. Goz highly enough. I know when the time comes that I may need surgery I'll be back here to have it done. I can't think of a better place. If there is one overriding mantra for the ROC it is kindness and it was exhibited by everyone in the facility, from the janitors to the surgeons.

About my new patient visit with Dr. Goz was outstanding. The scheduling, check-in process for new patient, nursing, check in, and visit with Dr. Goz were all above expectations and extremely efficient.

Recently had a televisit with Dr Goz. He took the time to listen to and discuss my concerns about a recommended surgical procedure and provided clarification.

I am always worried about going to health care providers. I have consistently run into providers that don't believe what I am saying. They tend not to listen to my condition, concerns, complaints, and coping abilities within my diagnosis or lack there of. Doctor Goz did a splendid job of doing all the things I wish all health care providers did. He listened. He gave me his valued opinion in the care he hoped to provide. He did so in a manner which expressed care instead of a condescending manner. I am excited to have him as my doctor. I feel that I have a better chance of feeling better with him as my health care provider.

Words cannot express my appreciation for this skilled surgeon who is the consummate professional. Dr. Goz answered every question about my surgery and was completely candid about what functionality I would have afterwards. My recovery time exceeded my expectations and I am already back to my walking regimen. I highly recommend him to anyone considering spinal surgery. He is my hero! Charlene Hartman
