I left my appointment feeling utterly frustrated. While explaining to Dr. Tabaac the history of the medical condition I've had for 25 years, she was very patronizing, kept interrupting me, and wouldn't listen to how my condition affects me because it wasn't "textbook." She prescribed medications that I had previously taken, even after telling her that they did not effectively treat my condition. I felt completely ignored and left feeling depressed and invalidated.

She’s a good doctor but her bedside manner is very rude I spent half my visit arguing with her About the purpose of the visit

If there was a 0 star, that's what Dr Tabaac would receive. She has no eye contact and poor patient communication. I felt dismissed, my symptoms minimized and ignored. I felt she cared less about how my medical issues were affecting my whole self. Did nothing to reassure me about anything. Did very little to inform me about her medical perspective. She rushed into the room, didn't look at me, went straight to her computer, did not use friendly language, rushed through in 10 minutes, didn't answer all my questions, and rushed out. She's pretty bad. I say, find someone else. If she was in private practice, she'd find her patients wouldn't come back because there are many other wonderful doctors in Reno.

Unreachable, MyChart exclusively, and she has "hundreds" of patients messaging her (her words) and suggests going to the ER between visits. Which we did have to do on 3 occasions, not ideal when each ER visit said to follow up with her. Vicious cycle, the epitome of having to be your own advocate.
